Who should start at 10 in Bledisloe I?

@machpants said in Who should start at 10 in Bledisloe I?:
DC fluffs Beaudy too, you haters! He's probably a more reliable source of No 10 advice
That photo reminds me what a wanky fanboy John Key was. What an absolute dick.

So, one bit season (out injured for a period) of good super rugby gets you the starting spot over the proven player at international level. Hmmm sorry I'm not drinking that cool aid.

Hmmm, greatest flyhalf of all time vs a few blind psychopaths on TSF....
If I was able to hear Carter's actual thoughts, I would give them great weight. Especially in private after a beer or two and he was being candid.
But pressed at short notice while promoting something else? He'll give exactly the sort of non-answer he gave.

Probably best to chat with him at breakfast. You could then preface all of your rugby analysis with "well, when I had breakfast with DC...."

Yeah but @Chester-Draws is no whoever that wannabe AB stalker is, can't rememeber now...

Yes I'm sure if you ply him with drink and then tie him down and threaten to sodomise him with a broomstick he might come round to the way you'd like him to think.
Here's a novel thought. Maybe he meant what he said?
-
@rancid-schnitzel Well, in as much as he said anything it was "game of two halves", "whoever wants it more" , "You need points on the board" level of analysis.
No hint of why Beauden is better. No hint of what Richie needs to work on. Not even an indication that DMac is not exactly what we expect from AB halves.
An eight year old could raise that sort of level of insight.
Or, a person being polite might choose to say that, precisely because it says nothing.
Incidentally, "my way of thinking" is 100% that Beauden should start. The broom handle you are so vulgar about would be redundant.
Are you so upset about someone suggesting Saint Dan is capable of white lies that you didn't bother to check?

it can't be, I would have remembered. I mean surely he would have said something?

Yep agree. Someone should have gotten him drunk first.
