France v All Blacks

That'll do. Good win, to finish a fucking great season. Well played All Blacks.
-
Great game, probably my favourite test of the year. Well played France, on another day that result could have gone the other way.
-
Rather meh performance. Hate those stupid little farking kicks.
-
didn't quite agree with the tactics of constantly trying to kick it behind the defence, some of the cross kicks were fine, but the little chips in midfield, nah, no fan.
Also, both halfbacks were hassled too much, needed more protection from the forwards. Not a great game by the loose trio (except Todd) IMO -

Yeah, but for a Goldenballs length of the field intercept...

ABs seemed to have run out of puff this EOYT. That and and the incredibly infectious stupid penalties disease.
Yes, but it has been happening for a few years now. Increase the quantity, reduce the quality I'm afraid.
We got the W, that's it, season over. I think that's all the players really cared about. Get the w and fark off

I can see why you don't kick the penalty when you've got them on the rack, but that wasn't one of those times. An easy kick, fuck points all in it, not long to go, all your reserves on and last match of a very long season. Not kicking it was stupid.
-
Good season. We have 1 glaring problem IMO. Our pack is just a tad underpowered. Plus too many penalties.
-
Ball protection again very poor. Seems to be something which crops up from time to time -- we increasingly don't commit numbers and are quite challenged by sides which do. Don't think Crotty-ALB the answer. Very skillful, but lacking penetration. Anyone hear what injury caused BBBR to depart?

Thought Barnes was fine myself one of his better tests.

I really respect Kaino, but I think they need to find a long-term replacement asap. He looks like he's falling apart. I'd rather see guys like him retire before they break down completely. And they need to try more guys than Dixon and Squire.
Kaino has had a pretty good season, better than Read's through the SH tests, he hasn't had a great EOYT though but we don't know if that was due to his injury or if he hit a wall.
We'll find out next Super season I guess.
