6N 2025 Wales vs Ireland

Match noticeably slower - no pressure or urgency to get scrums and lineouts set etc

James Lowe skinned there... I wish someone stood over him whooping and carry on like a complete twat....
Buy me a ticket to the next game and I will

The Irish seem to get away with a lot 50/50 niggly shite at the rucks
-
I bet all those Irish flogs are suddenly in favour of 20min red cards.
-
I don’t mind losing like that
If we can kick on then both Scotland and England had better bring their A games
-
Yeah, I’d agree with that. Looking at the two games yesterday I am a lot more worried about our trip to Cardiff. A point though is that the much lauded strength in depth of Irish rugby is not quite as strong or deep as thought. The A listers on the bench saved it for them really.
What that Welsh performance did highlight though was how poor the selections and tactics were under Gatland mk2. So strange to me that the previous criticism was that he held on to too many of the old guard for too long and then this time around he just picked kids - and out of position kids at that.

Well, that was entertaining. Wales got some personnel back with a bit of class and made a fist of it. Ireland looked to be a bit slow starting due to a lack of Bundee and then fixed it up by bringing him on.
Wales should be able to build from here. Ireland will be thankful for the lesson aka "don't piss about with selections against France"
