All Blacks vs Ireland

Really tough to get the line ups this tour so apologies for not being able to get the full accurate info like the England series and The rugby championship.
What I will say though to follow on from my post further up. I am led to believe Dmac and Perofeta will be the only changes with everyone else in the backs to remain the same. Emphasis on led to believe, but nothing else points to any changes for this test.
If anything does come through, I’ll pop it in here asap.
Go the All Blacks!

A change of tactics is needed. Kicking way hard won possession could be disastrous against an Irish team which is able to recycle the ball during many (and boring) phases all day long. But trying to throw the pill to the wings against a rush defense could be disastrous as well. Maul and pick & go (with the likes of Aumua, Sititi and Tuipolutu) could be an answer to the rush defense, as well as fixing Van der Flier in the tight.
We've barely used our maul this year and Wayne Smith hates them.
The combo of Vaa'i, Sititi, Cane and Savea means we're not set up for dominant mauling.

Exits and stiff defense around the collision areas/up fat man's ally. These are the weaknesses of the ABs and the main things to get right against Ireland. Their smoke and mirrors chaos with dummy runners up the middle needs to be absolutely smashed back into the dark ages.

i think we are really vulnerable to Irelands attack here as we still seem disorganised around and just off the ruck. By the QF last year we had worked out Irelands attack and snuffed it. They have tweaked it so we'll see how we go.
I still don't think Ireland have a lot of points in them, so we are a definite chance here to hang with them and then beat them with some individual brilliance.

I’ve met him at an event here, he’s fucking jacked.
Not super tall (just at or maybe a bit over 6 ft I reckon) but doesn’t look like he has a ml of fat on him.
Vermuelen was also there, and he is just a fucking monster.
Roids.......you should look at some of the Springbok shirtless gym photos from 2019 and also 2021 that were shared on reddit, there's no way that' muscle/fat ratio is natural, those Saffas are desperate unsporting cheaters who resort to every & any avenue to win - it's nothing unexpected for such a corrupt 3rd world nation.

Given we got pinged off the park with tackles off the ball against England, who do not nearly run as many dummy runners as Ireland, we are very vulnerable there if we don’t sort that out.

I notice that Ioane was VC last time, how about a promotion, leading the haka, and some real winding up of the Irish?
And holding a taiaha whilst leading that haka. That might make the Irish interweb network explode

They may have thought they were watching the South Seas equivalent to Hurling?

Interesting contrast of styles between the super structured Ireland, who are kind of more than the sum of their parts, and NZ, who never seem to be as good as their talent suggests.
Guys like Aki and Lowe couldn't make the ABs but are key pieces for Ireland. I wonder if the ABs would be better if they were more structured, or would it detract from the natural ability of our players. People in NZ are super critical of guys like Reiko, DMac and Mo'unga... But in a vacuum they are probably the best athletes and/or most talented players in their positions in the world. Why don't we get the best out of them?
Reiko is 105kgs, probably the fastest player in the squad, extreme acceleration. He's a much better athlete than guys like Kriel or Slade, maybe any 13... Dmac has the most speed of any 10, an awesome skillset, maybe the best catch pass of anyone, again a much better athlete than a Pollard or Sexton... Yet neither is anywhere near as productive on the field. Why?
I’d like to see some proof of that. Kriel looks like an extreme crossfitter.
Ioane is 8kgs heavier and 5cm taller than Kriel
So what ?
Are you seriously trying to suggest Kriel is a better athlete than Ioane?
Well I’m certainly disputing the statement that Ioane is apparently the greatest athlete playing rugby these days. Maybe ever ?
I thought the comment actually was "He's a much better athlete than guys like Kriel or Slade, maybe any 13"
So maybe we could list the biggest, fastest, heaviest, (and most agile?) 13s currently playing the game. I doubt Rieko is the most coordinated. And I gotta say Kriel has become a pretty handy 13 (arguably Am is better at 13, but I'd really like us to have a 12 like De Allende).
And possibly this guy will return to form (at 13?) https://www.aap.com.au/news/wallaby-kerevi-prepares-to-be-best-in-the-world-again/
We've got one coming through
Max Llewelyn
Son of former Wales lock Gareth Llewelyn196cm & 105kg
Too lanky to be a great athlete. Would need to be 112kg at least

The players would have marked this one down as top priority I'd suspect
We may be able to catch Ireland cold as it is their first match for 4 months.
But we will need to see a huge improvement in discipline and accuracy if we are a chance to win this.
Got a feeling DMAC will produce the goods on Friday.
