I think some of the Razor defenders are in for a bit of a shock selection wise. I don't think Cane and TJP are going to carry tackle bags, and I don't think Sititi is their starting 6. If they can, I think they'll have 6. Blackadder 7. Cane and 8. Ardie, with TJP at 9 in their top side against the big three, for their "experience".

One is broken and the other two past their best.
Thank goodness for all the experience though !

They better not give Niggles tacklebags to carry as that sounds far too dangerous.

I won't be too shocked at that. I expect there will be some rotation for the big three matches, but for England...
I'll be amazed if Ardie isn't playing 8;
I'll be more surprised if Sam Cane isn't playing 7;
I think it will be Sititi and Ratima at 6 and 9, but Blackadder and Perenara on the bench wouldn't surprise me in the least - especially if Roigard is a bit sketchy vs Japan.

He’s pretty much the next All Black legend of his era according to the fern so this is doubtful in the extreme.

Cane will absolutely start against England, Ireland and France.
Perenara will probably be on the bench for most of those games, as will Blackadder (and he'll very likely get a start in one of them).
But Sititi, Cane, Savea, Ratima, McKenzie is the spine of the top team now.

Certainly what I'd expect vs England- but, I'm only an interested spectator.
I don't really get why people think the coaches are out to scupper us.
They haven't picked the exact teams I would have, but I haven't really struggled to see their logic - with maybe a couple of exceptions. But, I'm prepared to put that down to me not being a pro coach!

Remember when Foster picked ScoBa at 6 vs England in the QF in 19 and benched Sam? And then didn't attack the english lineout? Yeah, I remember that 3D chess, or coaches just playing hunches and going wrong.
Edit: Hansen and semi. As you were.

I thought that was Hansen.
Still makes me bloody angry.

Semi Final, we have been bundled out in a Quarter Final in 07 by France.
Didn't happen and I wasn't there in Cardiff that evening.

Fair. It was 1am and I was tired
So were the selectors for that '19 semi final apparently....

not the first time. In (I think) 07 Byron Kelleher had been looking great off the bench ... so they started him. Turns out starting and coming on against tired bodies isn't the same thing.
Selection is hard, but like Rugby can be made as simple or as complex as you like. I worry we're trying to be too cute at times, both in selection and tactics.

Unsure if this is public knowledge but haven’t seen it anywhere.
Have been told that the AB squad is meeting this Wednesday and fly out on Thursday so don’t expect any of them to be playing in the NPC. As far as the AB XV players, I’m not sure.
