Springboks vs All Blacks 2

are there many players in this squad that are playing better than they did in super rugby? should be better coaches, better players around them so they should get better...feels like "everyone" was playing above themselves at super level...and now getting found out

@JK how long do you persist with an injury prone player like Blackadder? If he has two more injuries in the space of year I’d be tempted to invest in someone else. I love his intensity in principle but now what are our 6 options. I’d rather have someone like Akira.
Not sure why you're asking me? I cant stand Blackadder, nor have I commented on him in recent times. Try @Bones or @mn5 those two just love a chat about random crap. All the best.

@mariner4life I thought the team also started to improve when Jordie moved out of the 15. Too slow to be a major threat into the backline. Decent defensively though.

the big turnaround in Foster's ABs was finally putting BB out to pasture as a 10. Everything turned on that one selection.

@nostrildamus I notice South Africa hire former ref Jaco Piper. I still think in a 18 months we will be top 2, if not the best team. I think Ireland will fade and I just doubt that South Africa will be able to change their DNA in that time. Yes they might score a counter attacking try here and there but when the pressure goes on, they revert to type.

Probably only Crusaders, especially Blackadder, Taylor and Barrett.

@KiwiMurph and lets not forget...loads of BB's highlight reel he's wearing 22...not 10 or even 15...always has been excellent at raising the tempo against a tiring opposition

If you leave someone out of there for long enough, people will eventually forget how things went last time they were tried in that certain position.

Now let’s not go too far, he played a lot of great footy at 10 and plenty of amazing highlights too. But in my view we hung on for a little long because his form and the way he played started to slip.

@ACT-Crusader i'll admit this so not a extensively researched point...but it does feel his razzle dazzle stuff just doesn;t fly as often against fresh legs and is a bit out of place early in a game....but against blokes who have done 60mins...and we're either trying to catch up/change the game...or extend and put the game to bed....it can be glorious

I have a hunch the more important aspect might be Beauden himself being fresh. Looks to me like his decision-making goes to shit after he's played 60 minutes, and then it's all just hail mary.
