Maybe try not to follow the mob as sadly many do on TSF, but thankfully not all. And Im only posting on this farewell thread. Responding to posts on it.
After I posted it I thought it was actually a bit OTT. Not meant to tell you to piss off at all ...
Do consider posting in sports only threads though - as many have said your inputs are welcomed and often insightful. You just have a delusion about the Hurricanes
No. I know but its hard to not follow the mob. But unless more do the West is finshed
Regarding sports only. This is totally unacceptable to me hence why I have decided to leave. I was posting on contentious threads but the braindead mob got upset and complained like children. So my access was removed.
Really the threads should have been just closed down. If the forum isn't mature enough, as it isn't, to read different viewpoints on contentious threads then go back to just rugby. Or at least remove threads that cause issues rather than allow sometimes quite nasty stuff to be posted without challenge.
Some of us tried to be nice in here fella. A goodbye, a little compliment maybe about contribution to some threads, and some genuine heartfelt best wishes for your future.
And then you go and type a fucking sentence like that calling people who disagree with you the "braindead mob".
You're about to set a new record for being the first poster to get banned from his own farewell thread.
remember one keyboard warrior did call him a bellend. why if he wanted to leave couldnt people just let him leave without acting like dicks

You should carry on with the tipping - there's plenty who take part who never post on the forum. There aren't many of the originals left ......
OK. I really enjoy your tipping competition. So need to get this weeks tips in
My main aim is to free up time. Maybe war or an economic and / or political collapse isn't coming but just in case I want to have time to prepare for it. I need to read more on likely outcomes and then take action regarding finances etc.

ah, gestures broadly at the "look at me" leaving thread on a sports forum. A sports forum populated mainly by gen-xers whose entire personalities are built on ripping the piss out of their mates let alone people they rarely agreed with.
this thread is the Fern equivalent of

I didn't start it. I just responded (read the thread). And I was obviously not referring to everyone. Most are very fien people but a few esp if drunk etc aren't. and I suspect if meeting in person they woudl be very different
But I something post a respectful post and all hell breaks loose. Thsi started when I posted that some people think the US election is rigged now. A lot do. With a link explaining reasons

Agree. And I didn't respond until 2 posters said how funny and brilliant the post was
So I responded in teh same tone referring JUST to these posters
Dead from the head down
Meaning living in the head and unable to feel unless being angry or having a go at someone else
Just being all jokey like

Its a joke at another persons expense. Why do this? Who knows what goes on in BSGs life or whether he still reads this forum.
Because he was a monumental hypocrite.

BSG was a monumental prick here, he was constantly rude and abused his moderator powers. He gave little to no regard for anyone else's thoughts or opinions.
He is not missed. -

Wasn't that why he left? He took umbrage that "management" as he called the guys, wouldn't let him do that anymore.
@Winger I've got to say that I am pleased for you that you have found a paradise to think for yourself in.

He is not missed. One of my favourite BSG idioms was "I am not saying anything here that I wouldn't say to someone's face in the pub" - my immediate thought was that he either gets decked every time he goes to the pub or he clearly doesn't go to the pub very often.

That's the reason I regularly drink at the Petone working Men's Club. Those old fucks are busy trying to out run death. They don't have a chance against me
