Based on today’s performance against Japan

    England 10-12-13 channel is porous

Keep Earl quiet and England lose 9 times out of 10

Big drop off in quality and accuracy when England bring on the bench

can just see a hard running sotutu going straight through them now.....oh wait

That’s pretty cool. I wonder how much the English players may know about Michael Jones.

I’m not sure if current ABs met a Peter Winterbottom they would know him or hold him in high regard?

You'd hope they would've been briefed before turning up

Michael Jones just has that X factor, I’m sure the players absolutely loved meeting him.

In terms of Peter Winterbottom perhaps the ABs might see the blond hair and mistake him for John Jeffrey or Jean Pierre- Rives?

Fair points IMO, although I think they downplay how good Slade was on defence

@Machpants and it blames the young rookie for the lineout issues. Also lists DMac and Perofeta amongst the losers... which despite the reasoning doesn't fit.

I thought the DMac/Perofeta “loser” choice was more about their dual playmaker thing and that Barret has maybe overtaken one of them? But certainly on an individual basis neither warranted that tag. Other than that though it seemed a rational article to me.
