    Keep Earl quiet and England lose 9 times out of 10

    But give Ben Earl time and space and he's outstanding.

    Absolutely

    He’s the first name on the team sheet

    Ewells will be out now. Complete wankstain.

    Read that he's played a total of 16 minutes in an England shirt for 2 Red Cards.

    An error strewn and indisciplined display by England was far too good for the Brave Blossoms as Marcus Smith and his back-row shone in the heat of Tokyo to deliver a 52-17 win in England’s first-ever Test against Japan in the capital city.

    Eight tries from the visitors including a full house from the starting loose forwards probably flattered England but their physicality and ability to stay in the fight was a testimony to the spirit in the side. But indiscipline littered their display as they haemorrhaged 16 penalties, struggled greatly around the breakdown for the first half of the match, and conceded both a yellow and red card, spending most of the second half with 14 players on the pitch.

    He's a talent, but flaky. A lot is going to depend on how decent a platform he gets from his forwards.

    Based on today’s performance against Japan

    England 10-12-13 channel is porous

    Keep Earl quiet and England lose 9 times out of 10

    Big drop off in quality and accuracy when England bring on the bench

    can just see a hard running sotutu going straight through them now.....oh wait

    @Machpants

    That’s pretty cool. I wonder how much the English players may know about Michael Jones.

    I’m not sure if current ABs met a Peter Winterbottom they would know him or hold him in high regard?
