Andre Esterhuizen destroyed Jordie Barrett last time they played.
113kg - that's huge for a center.
He's bigger than the Welsh locks đŹ
We're going to get pummeled into oblivion.
Oh dear đ -
@Daffy-Jaffy that's truly fucking idiotic. The game is getting worse every time they expand the remit of the TMO. Now it seems they're hell bent on removing the referee.

@Smuts that's a forward pack to crush anyone. Please tell me vdM is the little brother?
Itâs my pleasure to tell you @Bones -
âvdM is the little brother?â
Always happy to oblige
when all thatâs required is a few keystrokes and a complete disregard for accuracy, facts and logic. Hell, thatâs what it takes to fit in round here.[edited out redundancy.]

Word is she brought around ÂŁ10 million to the local economy for the one gig
Didn't England play in Cardiff when Twickenham was being developed a few years back?

Oh fucking joy. What could possibly go wrong?

Isn't that just in line with the same power we've seen in... say... super rugby?

May be wrong, but isn't there still a phase limit in SR?

Why is the game at Twickenham? (will also google)
Because there are lots of Saffas in South West London these days.

@MiketheSnow absolutely, but he's no 12 either.

I fear the worst for the Welsh forwards.
Further weakened today by the withdrawal of Henry Thomas at tighthead.
His replacement Assiratti has potential but he's not test quality yet. Harri O'Connor who's been brought onto the bench isn't even pro standard as a scrummager.
I can see us getting at least one prop in the bin for scrum infringement. We'll get pinged at every scrum.
The Ospreys pack would comfortably out scrummage this 8 Gats has picked. -

The TMO at Saturday's Wales v South Africa match will be given more power than ever before, it has been announced.
The trial will take place at Twickenham and will see the TMO handed greater influence, including the power to alert referees to knock-ons and forward passes in real time. Wales and South Africa, and Fiji and the Barbarians have all agreed to partake in the trial.
According to World Rugby, the aim is to provide âa technology-based solution to collectively make better and more accurate decisionsâ.
The live TMO referrals will be used when the on-field team has missed a clear and obvious incident/decision that does not need a formal referral.
Crucially the timeframes of when the TMO can get involved will change. Currently, the TMO is only allowed to highlight some incidents within two phases of a try being scored.
The TMO will now have the additional power to highlight clear and obvious infringements in the final passage of play (from the last restart) to the referee, including knock-ons and forward passes.Potential offsides and maul obstructions will remain under a two-phase limit.
The move comes after it was confirmed Wales v South Africa will also adopt World Rugby's law changes, which come into play officially from July 1.
When will they have technology assisted ball out of play? This really gets on my tits. Linesman often 20 feet away from where the ball went out

I think it's far less useful in Rugby, as a metre here or there is not that important. It's only the occasional 'did it go inside the corner flag or not', or 'did it bounce in the field of play or on the touchline' that shows it.
I don't think it'd be useful for groundings as there are usually too many bodies around and I doubt it will tell 'on ground' rather than 'on hand' with sufficient accuracy.
I think it's more of a 'nice to have' than a 'we need this'. Forward passes get called incorrectly more of the time I'd argue ...

I am looking forward to see the new kids on the block perform specially Roos, SMZ and BJD from the Stormers.
