Also Taylor? Nope not even playing.
Certainly wouldn't be in 14, bizarre that telea is at hooker. We're not in the fucking NH Cully, we count from 1 upwards
Hmmmmmm depends how De Groot is under the high ball I guess……

@MN5 Blackadder only needs to play 52 mins a year which propels him above everyone else.
It does make me laugh how he just has to be breathing and he automatically commands an ABs spot.
…..and the game he played they lost but that’s 100% a reflection on EB. If he wasn’t there it would have been a 100 point hiding.

Claims an all blacks spot with the media, not sure what will happen with the actual abs. But as always every theoretical xv should be labelled what you would pick or what you think will be picked. Under foster (and Holland in the canes!) those were very different for me, not so much under Hansen and other coaches

Named at 7 as well. When's the last time he even played 7?

@KiwiMurph Fiji in Dunedin in 2021? Where we were getting beaten to the punch at virtually every breakdown. Him, Sotutu and I think it was Frizzell at blindside that day got well outplayed until the Fijians faded in the final 20.

@Canes4life Surprised Tuipolotu is still in the conversation to be honest. How many chances at test rugby does one player get? Great Super player, ineffective at test level esp. if it becomes an arm wrestle. Wouldn't it be better to invest in the future?

With Whitelock and Retallick gone he brings ‘experience’
( I bet that’s the bullshit line that comes out when he gets the nod )

The thing with Blackadder is, he's 29 with zero test match pedigree behind him. Why are we wasting our time?

The future includes trying to win games for me, plus he's at the very least serviceable at test level, unlike Vaai who plays like a boy amongst men.

Serious work rate and edge apparently

I guess there's a bit of a resemblance

I think he's become a far better player in recent seasons too. He wouldn't be the first tight forward to get better ~30 years old
He's barely played any Tests during that time either (two games as a sub in 2022, zero in 2023)
