RWC SF: All Blacks v Argentina

Gotta go with the top team again surely? Understand if Telea swaps in for LF and Whitelock for BBBR. Would love to see Roigard on the bench, and hope DMac gets decent minutes this week.

Come on Foz you got this
Mods: Can we have a Most Repeated and Upvoted Post category in next year's Fernies? @Berniescorner deserves recognition.
Ta.
Hey I was nervous last week
-
@BerniesCorner you'd best continue to be nervous this week

Going to this
This will be my first neutral test match live (as in I have no dog in the fight)
Was really hoping we'd be there but alas no
I will be cheering for Argentina though as mentioned earlier - support the team which put you out
What happens if the team the put you out then gets put out? Do you support the team that puts out the team that put you out? Or are you working from a blank slate in that scenario?
Then it’s NZ with my support
-
Spot on.
Don't mind the change at hooker, if Taukeiaho isn't wanted for the final if we make it, we can trust Coles to be back up to speed without needing to play this week, but not vice versa.
Can't complain about the selection at all given what's gone before.

Plus, the old man gets a rest. Wouldn't be great if him or Taylor went down and we had to dust down Sami for next week when he hasn't played in forever.
Does that apply to other dirty dirties? Vai'i, Jacobsen, etc?

When they get as good as Taukeiaho and are covering for Koro, maybe.

Samisoni has been decided average this year, I'm just wondering why only him, no other not 'availability enforced' change
-
Tough to drop Christie when he did nothing wrong last week...horses for courses...so if we make final.anf if SA do also, based on previous 'courses' Roigard will play the final!
Changes as expected, good ST back, need him to get some 2022 form back in him.
Let's win this and with no injuries!

Because average Samsoni is still better than Jacobson or Vaai.
-
good Samsoni is on a level they couldn't dream of.
-
Jacobson and Vaai aren't required in a crucial position if a 38yo gets injured.

Good to see they are persisting with Williams and Newell on the bench. They bring more grunt in the loose than Ofa T and Laulala. They also won a scrum penalty while they were only seven against eight Irishmen which tells a lot about their scrummaging ability.
