RWC QF: All Blacks v Ireland

@KiwiMurph "...may have...".
That they gave him a run at 12 vs Uruguay - seemed an odd thing to do, when they could have moved ALB in one.
ALB on the bench doesn't really cover wing very well, because it necessitates pushing Rieko out there, which takes a big edge off our midfield attack.
Leicester on the bench doesn't cover midfield very well either.
But, I think Leicester offers more impact. I wouldn't use ALB this weekend unless we have to.

I think ALB, Cane, BB, maybe Taylor, are considered almost set-in-stone ABs by Foster (and or assistants). Very hard to shift that.

@KiwiMurph I think Caleb has clearly been pushed down the pecking order.
It only took Foster a year to figure our what has been obvious for quite some time, even less effective tests than Frizzle- and Frizzle's are at least recent not years ago

Optimism levels greatly reduced due to inclusion of Ginga.

TBH, as stupid was that is, it won't be with winning or losing of the game. It'll be foster sticking with pretty much the same tactics, esp on defence, for years. It'll be not learning the 'learnings' ๐คฎ. It'll be lack of leadership when it gets tight. It'll be the lack of discipline when our stupid short kicking game puts us under relentless pressure. It'll be the lack of nous when it comes to pushing and working the ref.

40 hours and 20 minutes until kick-off guys - that's barely more than one of those world vision starvation events we used to do as kids!
Pass me the barley sugars...
Hang in there
And in that 40 hours, we get to watch the underdog Canterbury defeat the heavily favoured Naki, and hopefully Wellington defeat those nose candy chumps

@ACT-Crusader and of course we're all getting up to watch Gatland's minions destroy the Puma's
-
@Machpants wonder what learnings will be in his presser...
Time for Fozzie to give us the and his senior players to repay his faith in.them

@Kiwiwomble it's come thru my source and I ain't happy about it at all ,same as I was told Christie on bench from Monday

Talea, Roigard, Ofa , Blackadder, Sami T
Bit late homeSurely theyโre all blameless except for Ethan, who of course turned their water into wine

Not for me. I understand the thinking and decision
Really though? What is the actual defensive edge he has, any idea? It's been said a lot, but there hasn't been any substance put to it.
You'd probably have to ask Schmidt. Clearly sees something in Christie we don't see. Mind you, he was the one who coached the AB's to the last win over Ireland when Foster was ill and had Christie on the bench so he clearly knows what he is doing......
I asked you, because you keep saying it.
