For
Fucks
SakeEntirely predictable. Carter would be a nervous wreck now, prone to compounding error on error.
Jeez, I wonder how that could happen, throwing a young guy in without support and then hooking him - which made fuck all difference as the team was already set up to fail.
-
Jesus, what a rabble, maybe he is thinking the last Donald at 10 won the World Cup, so let’s roll the dice.
How is this bloke better than Gordon?
-
The Wallabies better hope they don't need a last minute kick at goal to win.
-
Hey Eddie, who doesn't know anything about rugby?
What a complete shitshow
-
Fark me, Donaldson at ten is a huge gamble. He was so bad there for the Waratahs.
-
Ugh... can I change my vote
-
How to fuck up a young player in three short weeks. Jones is clueless
-
At this point, Eddie seems to have totally lost the plot, if you're going to go gung ho and pick kids then bloody well stick to it, at least for a whole game. If you're not, then don't drop the experienced players before the tournament.
-
-
Nothing between these teams at all. Wales for me by 6.

@Dodge When did he appear to lose the plot with England? Was there some point at which the assistant coach turnover was just too much?
I think the coaching situation was the biggest issue, no one wanted to work with him and he constantly recruited people with no experience of the game, who then didn't last very long. IMO over time, his style of management gets on everyone's nerves - coaches and players, kind of like Mourinho.
Timing wise, i think he benefitted from a decent base built by Lancaster and then picked some rogue grunt to build on top. It started to fall apart after 2019, he wouldn't trust new players and let them learn international rugby in the shirt. Hence we're stuck with Daly / May / Cole et al who probably weren't good enough at their peak and definitely aren't now (probably harsh on May at his peak)

Unfortunately Matt Dunning has long retired

Lurker!

@voodoo hi mate, yep, thought I’d show my old, wrinkly, fat smug face again given that both England AND All Blacks are shit. 😉
Welcome back!
-
-
Why not put Carter as backup 10? Crazy or not, Eddie has cojones!
-
Wallabies lineup: Angus Bell, David Porecki, James Slipper, Nick Frost, Richie Arnold, Rob Leota, Tom Hooper, Rob Valetini, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson, Marika Koroibete, Samu Kerevi, Jordan Petaia, Mark Nawaqanitawase, Andrew Kellaway. Res: Matt Faessler, Blake Schoupp, Pone Fa’amausili, Matt Philip, Fraser McReight, Nic White, Carter Gordon, Suliasi Vunivalu.
Eddie has no fucking idea about what he is trying to achieve
-
Kellaway is still a good 15, no? Has he slipped in form?

In the Eddie zone...

More that "you've got a team capable of tripping over itself"
I'm interested to see what the selection of Donaldson does. If he goes down in the first half, we're fucked.
They should have put IFL on the bench instead of White tho
-
@nostrildamus Almost NZesque
-
@Machpants Imagine if Oz win. It would be peak Eddie Jones!
-
15 Liam Williams, 14 Louis Rees Zammit, 13 George North, 12 Nick Tompkins, 11 Josh Adams, 10 Dan Biggar, 9 Gareth Davies, 8 Taulupe Faletau, 7 Jac Morgan (C), 6 Aaron Wainwright, 5 Adam Beard, 4 Will Rowlands, 3 Tomas Francis, 2 Ryan Elias, 1 Gareth Thomas
Reserves: 16 Elliot Dee, 17 Corey Domachowski, 18 Henry Thomas, 19 Dafydd Jenkins, 20 Taine Basham, 21 Tomos Williams, 22 Gareth Anscombe, 23 Rio Dyer
-
Anscombe is very lucky
Dyer has been dynamic but Grady offers more off the bench
-
Dewi Lake? What a great name!

Goes where?
This been mentioned?
Haven't read the thread.
(Or the article ... headlines ...)
-
C’mon Wales!

This might come as a disappointment, but it's pronounced "der we", not like Huey, Dewey and Louie
-
Well at least the surname is not Dare.
-
That was a bloody beautiful try to Wales to open.
-
What a beautiful ball from Morgan
-
Both of those backwards from the hands? Overhead shot didn’t look that flash.
Cracking try but.
