Harrison talking a lot of sense (I feel sick saying that)

He also uses so much bullshit management speak he would get on with Mark Robinson

    "Decision matrix"

Yeah, that made me cringe. Using phrases like that on TV is part of the problem, not the solution.

    add to the list..

    "Stakeholder engagement"

I never want the Wallabies to win except if they’re playing England or Ireland. I’m pleased Wales won but am feeling really bad for the Aussie team, their whanau and fans. Keep your heads up! Hopefully this result and the crap that’s contributed to it , will finally lead to the changes from top down that need to happen to improve the journey back from here.

Add that one to "Springboks pick your best team", "the economy is going to suffer", etc.

The man comes across as a complete, class-less dickhead. An embarrassment to the game IMHO.

Did that interview sound to anyone else like a man asking to be sacked?

Hooper has impressed me in the post match (the way he has handled himself since been dropped actually).

He's a loyal team man, just unfathomable how he was considered surplus to requirements - sure his form wasn't stellar.. but the man oozes leadership

@game_film Losing against Wales for the first time since 1953 would be very Ian Foster.

Yeah a RWC is a squad effort, you want guys like Hooper and Cooper (who finally has his head on right) in the squad, mentoring and they would be more than fine versus the minnows. But Eddie thinks they have a defeatist attitude when really they are leaders. As soon as he picked this squad, he shat all over Oz chances to go anywhere in the Cup. But his 'building for the future' BS is also in trouble as it is hard to mentally come back from a 12.5% win ratio and even worse than Foster firsts.

Awful by the Wallabies. Feel sorry for them. The rushed Eddie Jones appointment was always going to be a disaster. The man is a chancer, an opportunist and a troll. He’s only ever in it for himself. And by deliberately leaving his leaders and more experienced players like Hooper and Cooper at home, he has destroyed the confidence of another generation of players and kicked the corpse of Australian rugby while pocketing the cash. A disgraceful individual.

For the All Blacks, the truth is that New Zealand’s deterioration is directly related to the demise of the game in Australia. Losing South Africa in Super Rugby and leaving our teams to play lopsided flat-track bully games against weak Australian sides has de-powered them. Both NZ and Australia suffer from huge discipline issues and that’s clearly related.

With all the money and talent and broadcast dollars drifting to the northern hemisphere, it’s hard not to think that under Robertson’s regime the NZR will drop the overseas players ban completely.

Puts our Bledisloe dominance into perspective. It would be tempting to mock this situation if it wasn't so sad and pathetic. It would be like insulting a vegetable in a wheelchair

We didn't dominate the Bledisloe this year. Things may be worse for us than we think.

Well at least he's doing some thinking and looking at the deeper problems and hasn't simply fallen for the magic solution of swapping the coach for the next wonder coach.

Not just Eddie but there is a huge list of assistant coaches he brought in - I wonder how long their contracts are.

@Crazy-Horse yeah it's kind of like there are two canaries in the coal mine, not just one! SA have been looking northwards for a while and if the calibre of southern hemisphere rugby is dropping that's another factor alongside $$ and time-zone fit.

Can't see Jones hanging around - he's fallen on his sword, somewhat fitting as isn't he looking/interviewing for coaching gigs in Japan? For all the shit he talks at times he has taken the blame and responsibility for the horrid (short) campaign.

Well a lot of roosters are coming home to roost unfortunatley, and I get no joy in seeing it.!
The whole RA thing has ben cause this.
Eddie Jones was pulled in late, then said he was picking young fellas who hadn't learnt to lose, and has now taught them to be losers!
And I listening to Stephen Hoiles saying now again (and correctly) that having 5 teams in super is spreading talent to thin and having to buy in players from overseas etc.
They are 2 that come to mind.

Hoiles was expressing the opinion that most NZers had re expansion at the time, i.e. they simply didn't have the depth. That was rubbished by Wallabies supporters. Dickheads.

What's crazy is Aus went from 3 teams in 2005 to 5 teams in 2011. They didn't even give the Force a decent runway to see if 4 teams would work.
