Parsons gang floated an undicslosed injury in back five. BB wasn't risked in Bled2 becuase of some niggle.
There might be some shenanigans with Narawa?
His niggly injury is taking ages to recover from. I wonder if the AB's a still paid by which squads they make? (it used to be three chunks - June Tests, 3N, EOYT)
Narawa gets paid, pulls out and replaced by Blackadder, who they keep talking aboutAnd then who replaces Blackadder when he gets injured washing the jerseys?
Ennor will be recovered by then so can get the call up, but then who will replace him when he trips walking up the escalator at Auckland airport?
Some of your best work. Needs more upvotes.

Nice!
These little details are important to the story!

@KiwiMurph Too many Chiefs! lol
Seriously though this game v Boks in London looms as a banana skin and not for nervous nellies to watch. Neither side will want to show their hand so close to the WC nor want their best players broken, but on the other hand will be keen to make a statement. -
@Jailbreak7 I'm going and seriously wouldn't be upset if we lost. This is about as close to a friendly as you'd ever get in test rugby.
If we win, it'll be playing some very basic rugby.
-
If they go out to play a friendly there will be injuries

Probably to Finau, Weber and Stevenson.

Tension between wanting to give first teamers a gallop and not wanting to expose them to risk of injury. Would almost be better if game of two halves, and playing two separate teams
Yeah probably would have been better to be a friendly so both teams could field their squads.

heard an interview with Shag, he said lots of positive things on how we are going,
He highlighted the tight 5 as the big improvement on the 2019 squad, we can now exchange up front with the big boys as well as play expansive,
in regards to the number of outside backs, he said something like ,they are intelligent men they would have discussed it at length and will have their reasons, it could be in relation to the way they want to play , it could be they want to keep the likes of Reiko and Jordan in the roles they have been given and not have to be moved .
there was some shag sarcasm on the public always thinking they know better
Is interview available on line?

After Wayne Smith left Hansen was stuck with a pretty limited & very small coaching group for international standards, just McLeod, Foster, Cron.
Foster has no doubt seen the advantage of having more specialist coaches on board, he's always had five assistants - compared to Hansen's three between 2012-2019.
The reason the All Blacks still remained pretty dominant during the post-Smith period (2017-2019) is because Hansen was a very strong leader & head coach who could get the best out of a group/coaching staff, even if they weren't particularly good.
Foster does not have those same qualities, a strong capacity to lift those around him, lacks proven leadership traits compared to Hansen.
