Argentina v All Blacks

@KiwiMurph its a double kick in the nuts, he doesnt have that extra motivation to improve...keeps his spot and keeps getting paid even when not trying...and young guys coming through are killing themselves to get a shot and getting disheartened when they dont get it....and then get blast in the media if they go overseas
same can be said for frizell is seems

I think Barrett is going to be the Mils of this year.
If one of the young FBs gets a chance and shines, and he continues with the chip-kick exits, he'll be the big name dropping of the year.
It's hard to get dropped - too hard under Fozzie - but I still see it happening.

@Dan54 So you like Beauden at 15? He's five years past his best and has been playing 10 all season (poorly). He's undropable it seems despite being below par for nearly the entirety of Foster's reign.
Not up to me to decide who I like at 15 mate. I not privy to training etc, I don't think he been great this year at 10, but it all depends if you pick what super coaches etc pick. I do think once Jordan was out it was him or DMac there, and can understand DMac being tried at 10. I think RMo is probably the preferred 10, but by christ we don't want to assume anyone in any position will be fit for whole year. I somehow think that CC is on trial on left wing too somehow, but once again I guessing as much as anyone.

Haha no accounting for taste is there,
I think your selection standard is of a very low standard.Yep and you know what mate, it's probably as good as anyone's on here, and doesn't make an iota of difference because we never have to be proved right or wrong.

That is a matter of opinion if you think that selection v Argentina is a good one then I think you have no idea at all.Just whatever Foster does or selects is all unicorns and Rainbows as far you are concerned.
Selections that continually fail is not good selecting and once again Foster will stuff up this year like the last 3 years.
Thank Fuck he is gone for next season. He repeats the same mistakes every year. -

Why has Roigard not been selected?
He's rested and superior to Christie.Agree. But read a few days back that he might be brought on as a replacement vs SA
Coles said that Roigard was like a deer in the headlights in the AB environment so maybe he lacks a little bit of confidence still. Someone with lots of ability but ...

Of the bizarre selections, Lord is actually one I can get behind - he's at least as underrated as Vaai is overrated. Gee what an impact off the bench that will be, Frizzel will be stoked to have another pair of eyes on the breakdown.
Foster loves to start a shit hooker eh, fuck the result, as long as we can play someone into form in time for the RWC final we won't be appearing in.

I’m a bit pissed to not see Finau there, I assume he’ll get a go against Oz or even SA.
I don’t think Stevenson gets capped. Roigard maybe.
Can only think Foster, Ryan and co want to both have a closer look at some of the new players and give them time to settle in - esp. as their 1st taste of AB rugby is outside of NZ. Narawa is an outlier though. From what Foster said, they def. rate SS but have a few concerns about defence which they want to work with him on and the door is very much open.
My guess is we'll probably see Roigard and Finau in the 23 in Melbourne and poss. SS too.
