Looks like a good mix between players who need game time and experience vets.
Yeah, some of the earlier hissy fitting in the thread about the quality of this team seems a bit silly right now.
But that's the Fern! Silly hissy fits all over the place!

@ploughboy Maybe he's on the bench because he's only played about 50 minutes of NPC since April? This Saturday, that Waikato game is 3 weeks ago.
...but i mean...10-15 minutes off the bench isn't going to change that much, so if hes not ready to start against Japan should he not have been selected?

Ennor to score four tries and lock himself into the World Cup squad a result ala Bridge.

And miss a fifth by dropping the ball with the tryline ahead.

He’s better than Marc Ellis. I say he’s good for eight.

Yeah - I like it.
Not taking Japan too lightly. Probably half of the team is from the first choice 23 (with a decent chunk unavailable), with a bit of cavalry on the bench.
-
Not sure exactly what I expected , but this is probably better than I expected.

be interesting to see who /if anyone plays all four matches
A few I reckon, the key players in this would have to feature later unless injured.
-
"Foster said there could be a chance that Perofeta will move to first-five later in the game."
I wonder who will move where to fit this in

Discussed above.
Options are
RM and SP swap - unlikely
RM off and DH to 15 - most likely
RM off Reece to 15 - possible but can’t see the benefitI still think that the better option would have been DMac in bench.
