Ennor to score four tries and lock himself into the World Cup squad a result ala Bridge.

He’s better than Marc Ellis. I say he’s good for eight.

Weakest AB backline in a long time. Might be worth a sneeky punt on the Brave Blossoms.

Looks like a good mix between players who need game time and experience vets.

    Yeah - I like it.

Not taking Japan too lightly. Probably half of the team is from the first choice 23 (with a decent chunk unavailable), with a bit of cavalry on the bench.

@sparky Similar strength to what played USA last year - though the Blossoms are a bit more of a threat.

Forwards marginally stronger for this one.

Japan has improved in leaps and bounds over the years but I can’t see them putting 50 on us, even at home.

A few I reckon, the key players in this would have to feature later unless injured.

"Foster said there could be a chance that Perofeta will move to first-five later in the game."

I wonder who will move where to fit this in

    Discussed above.

    Options are
RM and SP swap - unlikely
RM off and DH to 15 - most likely
RM off Reece to 15 - possible but can’t see the benefit

I still think that the better option would have been DMac in bench.

30 mins after an AB team naming and only 5 posts about it...

Better side than I thought they'd name, the mid-field has potential, both ways!

We're going to leave a lot of points out there with Ennor as centre. I don't know why they persist with him there - he isn't a centre.

They reckon he has made huge progress during training over the year.
I’m a big critic as well but if they have managed to advance his abilities I would be happy. He’s a sizeable unit and could cover midfield/wing which is a good option to have (backup for Rieko).
    I guess we will see.

For someone who’s not a centre he’s started there a lot at test level. 100% of the time if I’m not mistaken.

    Sensible team.

Good mix of experience and giving serious game time to the likes of Perofeta, Vaa'i, RTS & Ennor and the second stringers with a pretty solid and experienced lump of players available if things start to go tits-up. Only questionable area is 12/13 which looks seriously raw but I expect that will be changed about as we get into the game & ALB gets a good run.

Big opportunity for Sotutu to build a combination with Cane and Frizzell.

Ennor was dreadful at Centre against Italy last year.

The fact that Ennor gets selected in any AB team, regardless of injuries or lack of cattle, makes my balls shrink.

Great to see Tupou Vaa'i get a start. I'm predicting him to become a world class Test forward in the next 12 months.
