Beaudy having only just come on to the field I don't think they were fully in sync.

No-one's got tape on JB at 12. Genius.
He'll play him at 6 in the knockout match to reeeealy confuse the opponents.

Yep - that would have done it, as well.
But, Rieko was outside the cover defence when he caught the ball so if he'd gunned it I doubt they would have got to him and the wide defender would have been stranded.

Important test for Akira - needs to put down a marker to be the starting 6 because time (test matches) is running short for RWC.
I'd say the same for Taylor, Papali'i, Ofa, Nepo, Hoskins and RTS.

Every sport has its refereeing issues, even the most popular ones - Jesus @Derpus go and watch the EPL one weekend and see some of the teeth gnashing about refereeing there. It only seems more pronounced in union because there’s so many more rules and so many more opportunities therefore to blow the whistle.
I am not sticking up for union refs here - we seem to have an awful bunch at the moment - but it does amaze me just how shithouse refs can be in other codes when they have so little comparatively to rule on (and what they do have to rule on is much simpler and clear cut).
The TMO is the biggest for union, which is not such a massive factor in other sports yet - but it will be in due course I am sure

I am convinced the TMO only exists because TV cameras could see stuff the ref could never see, and people where whinging hard out when they lost. So we get TMO looking at everything

Aside from Boks 1, I think he's been fine under the high ball. Since Boks 1 it seems to me that there's been a distinct shift in Will's kick chase game. He's no longer mainly trying to catch offensive kicks, but is copying the Bok tactic and going up one handed to disrupt and knock down.
Yep Chris unfortunately at times (see 3rd Irish test) he scores scintillating try, but that has been all he has done . Game I mentioned I came away thinking he did nothing for about 79minute 40 second, and had an amazing 20 seconds, he is capable of so much more and has been slowly doing more in games as season gone on.
