Great off load by Jordan
After almost fucking it trying to go himself instead of going wide.
Come on beautiful off load made the try should have could have try in the end.
What would have made the try a lot safer and easier was continuing on the outside arc and feeding Jordie. He got lucky, so at least he's getting that facet back.

At least the Bledisloe Cup is safe.
Like winning a race reversing over the finish line missing wheels and the engine on fire.
Umm. Great.
Still won. Sometimes doesn't matter how
Oh for sure, but this is a poor team.
Lucky the Wallabies had so many injuries really.
Knowing us, even if we'd had every player fit and available we'd have lost by 20
We really let the Wallabies back in. The loose game suited your team. Valetini played well I thought.

Live at the ground the wallabies were all yelling , arms waving to kick the ball , they knew he was pushing it too far

Genuine question. Are we now actively trying to throw this game?
I’ve got a $50 on the Aussies, just saying
You're the curse
Thank you for paying $50 for the win, we needed it.

Seriously where is the enjoyment in this? Another win to the All Blacks off the back of a retarded call to make the Bled, once again, a dead rubber.
Just retarded.
You could argue Swain was a clear red and Foley's pass looked forward but I agree that last call was pretty harsh considering how often time wasting goes on and is allowed.
Added to that even the Oz commentators didn't think the jackler was supporting his own weight which led to the penalty. So could have been a penalty the other way.

Nah I’m sorry but that’s fucked. First and only time I’ve ever seen that call, and it’s in the 79th minute of a Bledisloe. Just absolute horse shit.
Take the win NZ. But it’s hardly a famous victory.
Admit Barnes robbed the All Blacks in 2007 and we will give you this one...

Wobs got a clear forward pass try because the ref was too slow to check, so it doesn't feel too bad winning like this. But ABs were shambolic as soon as they led big.
It should never have been that close. They stuffed countless opportunities to out that game away that offload should have been immaterial.

Fuck. Just realised I spend my post Test Sunday morning lying in bed dealing in PMA and reading the TSF match thread.
Got to work tomorrow...
I'm just happy we won as I have to go to work with a bunch of Aussies in the morning.

@barbarian McCaw won that ball fair and square against the Waratahs too 😀
Not sure what was shown on the TV, but there were plenty of Wallabies players who sensed if he didn’t kick it something would happen. He was taking an absolute age.

Fuck those grapes are sour.
Everyone but Foley heard the ref ask three times. When your own players are screaming at you to kick it you have pushed too far.
It may be the first time you’ve seen that call but that’s because no one has been that completely stupid before.
Your fucktard halfback is lucky he didn’t get a post match red card for referee abuse. -

To be fair it will be a famous victory. Not for the right reasons though.
Although your coverage saying it was the wrong call won't help. It wasn't the wrong call. It was just a very odd, rare one. Made at a pivotal time.

Yes, not a great team performance. Back row was new and didn't cut it. Lost 1st choice 12, then captain (#7), then lost replacement #7 to a YC, then 2nd choice 12 (forcing a major backline reshuffle). I'd say it wasn't all doom and gloom considering.
ABs left at least 4 tries out there today, mostly because of poor decision making. You'd think they would be looking at these in the post-match review.
The concerning aspect was the defence. Forget about the forward pass (even though it was a big momentum changer). ABs should have seen the game out from 31-20 up. Oz played well I thought, but ABs gave them easy penalties to piggy back on and a porous defence to take advantage of.

You've never seen a time wasting penalty?
Ever?
Big fuck up by your boy.

I think your error rate was unacceptable - that wasn't the loose game, that was just shit execution. Don't think Foster can take all the heat for that... and the good news is he doesn't have to! He's Coach-For-Life now
We're fully responsible for losing that game.

What was the ref supposed to do? Just wait for the hooter for the next minute?
Player has to take responsibility.
Blow time off. That’s what he does, and it’s what every ref has done in that situation.
Or just let Foley kick the ball three seconds later and not make the game about him.
But he made a call I’ve literally never seen before. On the back of an incredibly dubious penalty for sealing off.
