All Blacks v Argentina II

Ha ha. Montera didn’t shake Coles hand. He just gave another shove.
-
Was that an Argie refusing to shake Dane Coles hamd and instead shoving him in the shoulder??
Very poor form if it was.
-
Take the win and the good performance, enjoy for a few hours.
Worry about Oz and the Bledisloe tomorrow.

Good win but we’re the Argies really bad or we we’re very good .
I suppose we will have to wait and see.
I think they weren't quite up to it but we were better. If we come up against a great team I think we'd be competitive but yes we still have some weaknesses. And Jordan and Clarke weren't blemish free. I thought Rieko had a stormer and hopefully they won't take Samisoni off for 60 or 70 in tight games. But Coles>>>Taylor.
-
Did anyone else see Matera shove Coles when they were shaking hands? Coles must of upset him pretty bad for him to do that.

Best game I’ve seen Reiko play as a centre. His decision making has been sound.
Rieko has been awesome at centre in a number of games for the ABs, MOTM performances, but it seems it'll take people a while before they fully acknowledge how good he is there now.

Don't fucking over think it
They were as good as we allowed them to be
We played well. Enjoy it!!!
I am fucking trying until I see Fosters face.
-
Well done NZ
Well done Foster and Cane
A much improved performance
Aggression and accuracy with some classic AB counter attack play, and more importantly space creation from first phase
Big step in the right direction in poor conditions and against a side which can normally bring you down to their level

It's crap. What happens on the field stays on the field. Things like eye gouges or other really foul play excluded.

No he hasn’t but he was wonderful tonight.

Cane 59% winning record as captain.

Lol I don't blame him, Coles would be a fluffybunny to play against

Fortunately he's our fluffybunny

Yeah, he should be cited for his head butt, then whacking him after the game, rather than shaking his hand. What a fluffybunny

Coles deserves it. He makes fitzy look like an absolute Saint. Grubby Coles. Great work from Matera.

What you've got to understand is that Matera is playing for his country.

He currently sits 4th in the Fern MOTM standings this year. Thanks for making my point for me I guess

Matera is often a fluffybunny too and he's not our fluffybunny, so therefore poor form from him.

Telling someone to get in back in the box is not grubby. Shows mental weakness he couldn't take it. Just verbals, nothing grubby. So bollox to that

Excellent performance.
The low error rate was the most pleasing thing given how hard we worked to create opportunities.
Loved some of the variation which seemed to bamboozle the Argies defence. Don’t think they were expecting the short kicking game.
I thought most of the team played well but the standouts for me were Sami T, Whitelock, Smith, Ioane, Ardie, Cane

I thought we looked snappier in the backs once Christie came on..(well after the first 5 custard minutes)..
-
Jordan can go. Taukieaho and Savea immense.
-
Tactics, energy and execution was all spot on.
Huge improvement in the breakdown work this week.
Tougher tests await.
-
I would have to suggest I was pretty impressed with Lomax's game tonight, I thought he had a bloody good one, well whole starting front row was, and liking the look of them going forward!
-
No idea the stats but when your front row makes that many metres, solid at set piece and hit rucks with enthusiasm, I think we have found our front row going forward.

Yeah we're still extremely reliant on the opposition having a mare.
Flat track bullies.
-
I haven't read the comments yet but this game was an example of how a ref's interpretation of the breakdown can have such an impact. So different to last week.
Anyway, rapt for Cane to put in a performance like that.

Breakdown esp. counter ruck was fantastic.

The impact they are having in the first half is awesome, led by Samisoni who is just making metres at will and getting us on the front foot early on. That's no mean feat when the opposition pack is fresh as well. Really positive signs there now.
-
Another big difference is the backs did appear to have more structure and clarity with possession. Not as much side to side single runners. They played the conditions much better and made plenty of metres. I'm hoping this is Schmidts doing, he did seem like the cat that got the cream in the box.

Yeah, he pinged the Argies early and that changed how they attacked the breakdown. The ref last week was really out of his depth.
-
Good thing they didn’t change the tram from last week.

I think we really suffer when we have long period without being exposed to NH refs.
