Foster, Robertson etc

More assistant changes I reckon or it’s completely different and it’s got something to do with the upcoming Argies series and we are trying to use the good will from last night’s win as the backdrop
-
Really loved that win last night but would be soooooo disappointed if it meant a longer Foster tenure.
-
Foster is consistenty inconsistent and it took the All Blacks to basically reach their lowest point in years and years for that performance to be produced. Kudos to Fozzie for getting the backs to stand deeper on attack, but games are won in the forwards and that credit goes to Jason Ryan - not him.
The players weren't playing for Foster so much as their own survival, pride and respect.
Many were playing for their very survival at last chance saloon should a new coach be appointed. Others were perhaps worried they would be shifted positions should a new coach come in.Not getting rid of him now is a mistake because we can probably muddle through against Oz and the Argies and then there will be no cause to sack him. No more waiting, no more chances. Time to rip off the band-aid, despite it hurting the feelings of players that are close to him (such as his Christian blood brother Ardie)
As Rancid said, this game proves we have the players. Now we need the best coaches.

Where's Razor

@BerniesCorner
talking to england -
Eddie Jones was in the crowd last night. Press conference to announce the ABs have swapped Razor for Jones.

'How to Destroy a Brand' by NZR
-
It's taken 3-4 years for the AB forwards to be properly organized. That's why we won. WTF NZR
Hard decisions need to be made now -
-
What really fůcks me off is these comments about how we should relax now and stop bleating and how Ireland and RSA are really good and there's no shame in losing to them etc. Ffs, it's those expectations and standards that are the reason the ABs are such a marquee brand. Take that away and we're just Wales in black (no offence meant).

Announcement 5.30pm: NZR 'We have been useless and the board are resigning'
-
Devlin is a troll.
No way anyone would believe that Foster is stepping down. He’s been saying the opposite for weeks and even said after the game he has no idea. Also if NZR have someone in place they have done so behind his back which is constructive dismissal
NZR can’t pretend otherwise. If he’s gone they have to be honest and say it is because of a body of work. -

Somewhere Mike the Snow

@trooa I've had a look at the ABs YouTube channel and there isn't a placeholder for it streaming there - it still might pop up at 5.30pm but I suspect Stuff and the Herald sites would be the best places to check. Not sure if Sky will show it.

I don’t know exactly how the NZRU structure their engagements of the head coach, but I would’ve thought for tax purposes the head coach would be a ‘contractor’. If that’s the case then constructive dismissal would not apply.
-
@ACT-Crusader that's a good question - I can't recall hearing details on how the employment structure is set up... but they are on fixed term contracts so that's something.

We need a Wellingtonian on 6 figures to tell us how it all works….
