Loss number seven under his watch came after just 24 tests, a rapid rate compared to his predecessor, Sir Steve Hansen.
It took 89 tests for Hansen to suffer seven losses.History was made when the error-riddled All Blacks trudged off Sky Stadium staring down the barrel of a 22-3 halftime deficit.
Never before, in 119 years of test rugby, had the All Blacks trailed by 19 points at halftime in a test match. -

Another Foster first:
He's finally killed the myth the All Blacks peak between World Cups.
You hope!

First time I didn't give a shit about an AB loss.
I suppose that's because there have been so many of them.....
Same here. I saw it coming as I do a very bad time if we do not get rid of this inept coach. I''d have Razor and Schmidt as his assistant. A new Captain is also needed. A player that will always be picked because he is the best in his position.

Can anyone name a single positive trait of Foster?
He'll last a long time in a famine?

First time I 've genuinely thought I could do a better job of coaching the ABs than the Fat Useless Clown in the coaching box.
I'm pretty sure Fozzies a better coach than I am. While some of you may have doubts whether this is possible, I just don't have the International coaching experience I need , and maybe if I spent a few years coaching Wales or Scotland (I can't coach Australia for religious reasons) then that would change.

That's fair, though his optimism doesn't seem to be helping anything except maybe his own mental health. At what point does optimism start to hinder his ability to do his job? Seems like we are well past that now. -
I was supposed to be at an event in Napier which got Covid cancelled So got in takeaways to watch game in Hotel room. As kick off approached discovered no Sky.
First time ever I could watch a game live (nearest pub was 5 minutes away) and just couldn't be bothered.
There was an inevitability to what happened that I simply could not bear watching.
Haven't gone near the match thread for the same reason.

Hmm, I don't like this.

This thread should have a secondary title - Cane's firsts. Because he is a fucking embarrassment of a test player, let alone a captain, and he is getting subbed off while his team loses again, and again, and again.
Cane is as bad at playing rugby as Foster is at coaching.

First home loss to Argentina.... the hits keep coming.
First ever 3 loses at home in a row. First ever negative points differential after more than 1 game in RC/3N
Wouldn't you love the press to have the balls to throw these things in his face. Like hard hitting political journalist. These are facts. Throw them at him. Demand explanations or resignations
