The big question is what do we do for next week to turn this around?
Sack Foz tonight.
Have you guys got monkeypox over there yet? That might help.

We’ve got our first case tonight ironically.

Catch the ball. Throw passes to players. Kick sensibly.
I know it's pretty out there as a theory but why not throw caution to the wind.
Woah, woah! Next you'll suggest making contact with the opposition below the neck.

A coherent defence strategy is a few years down the track mate.

Scott Barrett best in black for mine, and probably the best thing for the ABs out of the last two tests
He had impact in everything he does, lineout great tonight, tough carries, physical in contact. Noticeable that BBBR doesn’t play as tough.

The level of skill deficit makes this All Blacks team unrecognisable from the highlights of the last 20 years. Passes to no one, if the pass does by some miracle go to the intended recipient, they'll drop it as often as catch it. There's no bodies in motion so it makes no difference if we have Aaron Smith throwing passes or Quentin Kenihan.
Ireland knew we'd be playing wider off the ruck and simply had another player come forward so we weren't attacking the fold. No pick and goes to keep them tighter. Our kicking game is dreadful because our chase is non-existent.
And then the crowning turd in the water pipe is attempting low percentage plays to make a difference, only to cheaply hand back possession and territory.
It's unfathomable that this is the result of professional coaching.

Complete fucking thumping.
End of the legacy, end of the dynasty.
Lost to the argies, owned by the Irish, just terrible.
Foster & the whole team MUST be sacked. MUST be.
Cane. Your time is up too mate. Sorry.
Takes 100 years to build a legacy. Takes one term of Foster to shred it 🙈

So the exact same failings as end of year tour last year.
But I thought it was because we were 'tired'.....

Ireland has done us a favour.
Test rugby has always been about the team that makes the less mistakes wins. As a person who experienced test rugby in the 70s (can't remember much to be honest), the 80s, 90s up to now, the rugby that the ABs play now doesn't feel like test rugby. There is a lack of territorial awareness which means a lack of pragmatic kicking, they invite chaos near their line which more often than not has negative results, etc, etc.
It is hard to explain but in the Foster era, they give it up too easily. We have no desire to play the territory game
Because our 10 has a shit territory game.
It's not just on the player. It's our patterns and tactics
-
@antipodean It kind of went to shit when Wayne Smith and that AFL skill coach left.

I don't rule out the possibility NZR might ask Foster to go. That was a pretty shambolic performance. A repeat next week and/or in the RC and Robertson might sweep in.
They have investors to keep happy now

Difference is we get upvotes for all of that and they get none!

I hate this
Innate to day the Crusaders team would be an improvement on this dross.
They would at least have been able to get the ball to Mo'unga and Jordan.
Mo'unga had 30 odd minutes and didn't do a fucking thing. Because our 10s aren't the problem, our coaching group is. Absolutely brainless performance, made all the worse as we have both Razor and Rennie, NZers, that would love to coach the ABs, and one is stuck in SR and the other we let go overseas. Picking Foster as the head coach after Hansen was fucking insane at the time, and after loses to Argentina and Ireland at home in amongst other dross served up by a talented group of players, is even more insane now in hindsight. Jobs for fucking mates and we're paying the price.
I'm not too worried about losing Rennie tbh, not saying he is a bad coach but he doesn't seem to have (so far) catalysed the Wallabies?
The Wallabies are showing signs of improving and building towards something. Might this be the year the ABs and Wallabies trajectories cross over?

I’ve not been a fan of it, but they could be the ones who will act in our best interest here.
