Definitely has to be in the picture. He’s certainly been impressive on attack and I really liked how he went about his work on defence last week.

Someone can correct me if my memory is faulty, but didn't Fozzie say that they'd be using a smaller squad this year and unlikely to take in new players?

Well that’s a very narrow minded view if that’s the case. Even when we won the WC in 2015 we weren’t afraid to have virtually a rookie on the wing in NMS but his form was too hard to ignore that year.
Now I’m not comparing NMS to Sullivan, but If Sullivan continues this run of form surely he will be too hard to ignore aswell.

Continuity of selection was the words they used I believe.
34 or 36 player squad Foster was quoted. -

Throwing a newbie on the wing is a lot different to throwing them in the mix elsewhere.

Yeah I saw that interview. He was talking about what’s likely to happen. They have used an unusual amount of players over two seasons (b/c injuries, covid etc). So the probability of new caps is low
Sullivan is playing well in a position without much depth. So that helps his chances. As does ALB’s injury

So, does TJP being on AB enforced rest mean he is automatically in the squad for Ireland?
Every AB who played last season has been on an enforced rest.
All the Crusaders have, Bridge and Ennor included. -

@Canes4life Was just going to post that.

- Justin Sangster
- TK Howden
- Du’Plessis Kirifi
- Ardie Savea [c]
- Jamie Booth
- Aidan Morgan
- Salesi Rayasi
- Jordie Barrett
- Bailyn Sullivan
- Julian Savea
- Josh Moorby
REPLACEMENTS:
16. Dane Coles
17. Tevita Mafileo
18. Owen Franks
19. Isaia Walker-Leawere
20. Caleb Delany
21. Cameron Roigard
22. Jackson Garden-Bachop
23. Billy ProctorUnavailable for selection: Devan Flanders, Ruben Love, Brayden Iose, Reed Prinsep, Pepesana Patafilo, Blake Gibson, Tyler Laubscher
Unavailable due to All Blacks rest week: TJ Perenara
Both Coles & Franks are both about 35 now, so they'll probably play about 40 minutes a game each for the rest of the season... so it's whether we start them or bring them off the bench ? whatever the case their experience is a big factor for the team.
From the 23 thought Roigard deserved to start & prefer IWL over Blackwell... like the loose forward trio of Howden, Kirifi & Savea.

Lol how is the ground wet when it’s 20 odd degrees and low humidity.
