Can remember a league test in Palmerston North where the ball went missing for about 3 or 4 minutes ..

they almost ran out! None were coming back to the game

I don't like that reasoning, the answer is not make a dangerous tackle. However if a guy nearly falling over is considered upright then there's something wrong.

The Force kicker looks a bit 'special' when he kicks for goal.

@Mattasaurus If you arent in a position to make a safe tackle you don't make a tackle, obviously.

@Bones I also dont like that it is called 'foul play'

To me, foul indicates dirty play

They would've had quite the challenge on their hands.

    Watch it at normal speed...

Certainly no malice.. Not deliberately head hunting..

Im guessing it's being implied that he was beaten, therefore shouldn't attempt the tackle.. As he wasn't going to be able to get low enough.

Of interest, in u10 grade and below tackle, the tackle height must now be below the sternum... I believe the intent is to carry this through the older grades in coming seasons too

Not sure if specifics, just what we were told at small Blacks course.

Not sure what you're arguing with here. Normal speed or not, it's penalty at best, Dickson was really low. "what's he supposed to do" is not a defence though

How does that work if the ball carrier drops at the last moment like everyone is taught to do?
