Nah, the Chiefs are the team to beat I reckon. Seem strong in all departments.

Chiefs often cause problems for the Crusaders and I see no reason why it will be different on the weekend. They have a good chance.

Chiefs have certainly got a challenging draw and travel schedule for first half of the season. They will miss Jacobson a lot

Hope BBBR can wind back the clock to the days that he and Messam used to get in the Saders heads

Outside of Jack Goodhue’s ongoing unavailability (he’s due back from his knee injury late April), and questions regarding prop Oli Jager (calf), Ryan confirmed they had a healthy squad

He could try his new trick of "reverse gear when getting tackled".

@mariner4life Nah.... struggling to see where Crusaders have any dominance. Certainly not in the tight 5, definitely not in the midfield or loosies..... Coaching is good on both sides.... Nope! Chiefs definitely take this one!
In all seriousness, I think the Chiefs are the team to beat. I dislike their supporters esp. on the fern, complete tossers, but reckon they are the team to beat and will comprehensively beat the Blues if they meet again.

@old-samurai-jack The Crusaders have won 5 titles in a row and somehow the Chiefs are the team to beat?

Lol how are the Chiefs the team to beat? The Crusaders have made a perfect start to the year, whereas the Chiefs let a win slip against the Blues, plus they have Tiatia at fullback.

we're tossers supporting the, at-best 3rd best squad in the league, yeah just huge favourites....

Your All Black laden team with the bestest coach ever, and his incredible systems should have this as a doddle. Crusaders by a thousand.

I wish this was true. As crusaders winning every year (and crap Aussie teams) is not great for SRP. Sadly it's not

    It's only the Crusaders. 😉

Plenty of rotation in the first 3 games. I'm looking forward to seeing Dyer in action.

@bovidae It's just plain weird. You'd think they'd play their best 23 against the Crusaders. Lowe is miles better than Stevenson on the wing. Weber not in the squad either. Two debutants. They might as well give Thompson a run, too.
