New locks, new centres and no Coles. Hopefully the new guys have what it takes. Still plenty of strike power though.

Possible shower in the evening coming off a forecast 31 degree day. Already got my tickets, hoping the Canes flog the Brumbies and all the public servants don't turn up for the remainder of the season...

Lots of talent in that team but worried about the inexperienced midfield combo.

And will be tested against a solid Wallaby combo in Toomua and TK.

Last season the Brumbies were very successful using the "rolling" maul to score tries. It's largely the same pack so I'd be expecting the same.

Will be interesting to see if the new interpretations on the rolling maul impact the Brumbies.

Ive been watching the Hurricanes preseason documentary on foxtel here is Aust which has got me excited about the start of the season. Plenty of new faces. While its a big hole to fill in midfield they have some decent options to try. Hopefully one of them comes off.

Ah cool, must have been thinking about how he had played for samoa so was no longer nz eligible and transferred that to leaving nz all together. Look forward to seeing him breaking people in half again this season.

Hah, I like it! Saw the yellow and black jersey when I was home, that's definitely hideous.

Canes defence appears a little porous, as they allow Bumboys easy metres to score - they;ll need to sort that quicksmart
