@chimoaus Yep. Him at 13 and Rieko at 11 would have been nice.
With the performance of Havili tonight, we might need ALB at 12.
I think we looked off in so many areas that few came out looking good
I think the one player whose stock went up the most with me was Blackadder. I already had Jordie as the first place 15. I hope the coaches will also start to question their assumptions about some of the 'strengths' of certain players (i.e., Bridge). We also need to start working on bringing through some young props.
But he was at 7. Are you tempted to replace Akira with him, bring on Paps and rest Ardie? Don't think they will rest or bench Ardie due to captaincy.
Would have been a perfect game for Dalton and Luke.
I’d go Akira, Luke and Ardie at seven, with Dalton on the bench.

I'd like to see Weber and Mo'unga in the halves, Havili and ALB in the midfield, with Rieko, Reece/Jordan and Jordie back 3 for the next game, but it's probably too soon for RM and ALB's injury is a question mark. They may prefer to give him more time to heal. In that case, Rieko at centre, and Reece and Jordan on the wings.

As long as bridged is left right out, I'll be happy

The more we play BB at his preferred position the more I wonder if he is fading. Some online article said his calf injury was no more so if that is no longer a reason, I wonder if he can regain his form. Apart from one game this year (?) it has been awhile.

Where's all the love for Akira gone? And the hate for Blackadder?

I am wondering the same thing .

A week is a long time in rugby apparently.

Blackadder was a shitload more accurate this week. Faded a bit, but did a damn good job out there.
Akira was grafting, but dropped two sitters and then just shat the bed. For a guy who's been the best on the field almost every time he's played, he's earned another chance.

At least feelings for Bridge have only intensified if anything

So we won the TRC huh, we did not deserve that.
Why? Win all games, get prizes.

There was plenty of people liking Blackadder last week. Akira was one of many that didn’t have a the greatest game, at least he came back in the second half.
He’ll be back to normal next week. As will many of the others who making little mistakes.
If Bridge gets selected after that performance though…

He just looked a little shell shocked and he was one of many. Scoring that try might have helped him settle. Should be persevered with and will be better next outing

@kirwan Sp you'd take away the best player for the ABs tonight, Blackadder. Mmm...
Unlikely to be played three weeks in a row, for that many minutes.
IMO will depend on Daltons fitness.
