I just hoping they put it all down to some sort of epic clash, they were shit and predictable and we still only just won…which means we were far from good

We didn't play well, but we won. Playing badly and winning happens with good teams.
I am happy enough.
That Smit 100th test we were poor for most of that match and then we pulled one out of the bag at the death when a Bok player (Smit) fell of a tackle.
I remember well. Though in that game SA played very well for 60 minutes. We came back from a long way behind.
At the end of the day, playing badly and still winning is more of an All Black trait than many of us would like to admit.

The bomb worked a treat against Bridge so they kept it going. Jordie was just sprinting around like a madman in the end trying to take them all.

Other than Jordie they all looked off colour. It was weird. It was a miracle if they managed to string 3 phases today.

Very shit captaincy from Savea. Turned down 3 points several time, which would have put pressure on SA. Never talking the the ref.
I’ve said this, he might be a lead from the front type captain…but doesn’t have the wider captains vision, given the opportunity he’ll opt for something forwards based
