Coles (when fit) will be the hooker joining the squad.
After 2 weeks quarantine
I certainly wasn't implying he would be available immediately, just that they can't just bring over a new player to join the squad unless a MIQ spot in NZ is found for when they return. Foster might need to find a Kiwi hooker in Aust in an emergency.
I think in an emergency Coles stays in NZ, and hooker #5 joins ABs. Unless the theoretical kiwi hooker in Oz is in QLD or WA, they still have 2 weeks quarantine. That's the real challenge of this tour, juggling injury replacements.

What was the general feeling on BB and DMac?
Beaudy did some lovely things and will be better for the run. Given the general kicking display I'm loathe to rip into him about that - it looked like everyone had some issues there for some reason.
DMac did nothing bad and nothing great.
Have they swapped to adidas balls, same thing happened in TT , noone kicked any good in Aus.
Really enjoyed the game, that was a bloody impressive performance, whole team went well. Agree with Akira MOTM, Brodie was in beast mode, both wings were bloody good, as were insides etc. I have to say I was real impressed with ALB too, shit he does some good stuff both in defence and with ball in hand, a real good 13! -

Nobody has kicked well from the tee today
Good point. Conditions look fine?
Yeah DMac has miss timed them as well, weird as he's really consistent
The conditions were perfect no breeze to speak of

Opposite, NZ use Adidas balls, this game (and everything outside NZ) use Gilbert

From what I can recall no one had a bad day today apart from some of the kicking.
Akira was huge and is really growing into his role, He will be looking forward to testing himself against the boks ins couple of weeks
All of the forwards really got into their work especially when we were down to 14
Weber looked ok but seemed to tire
Looked like we leaked a couple of tries so a bit of work to do around the fringes, out wide defence pretty good
Ref did seem to be shit but penalty count was probably in our favour
-
Just a few comments.
The Jordie red was utterly fűcking retarded. Absolutely ridiculous decision.
Akira had already arrived but now he's surely here to stay.
Reiko is an excellent winger and should stay there.
BBBR is returning to beastmode.
Jordan was pretty damn good and IMHO has the best kicking game out of all the backs. Damn!
Weber was very solid.
BB looked very good, but those kicks!!!! Wtf man?
Havili is growing on me. Can't fault him.
Nick White looks like some absolutely fucking ridiculous comic book character and I don't think there is a sane person alive who would disagree. -
Oh yeah Kerevi is a very good player but those penalties were for junior level shit. Teach the man the rules of the game.

@rancid-schnitzel Mrs CF doesn't watch a lot of rugby these days. Saw White and the first thing she said was "who's the guy with the stupid moustache? "

@canefan Should have started though, he's quality.
They got them the wrong way around?

Probably should be kicking goals for them too.

Two games against Australia a year is more than enough these days. I'd rather see the ABs play against Japan more often than these multiple one-sided games against Aussie.
I actually enjoyed the Fiji games more. At least you had that immense physical test in the first 60 or so.

Hooker is a massive problem if Taylor is not right for next week.
I think we are okay-ish in other positions.
taukeiaho is great, needs to work on lineout throws but early days.
His long throw is a work on. But otherwise he is an accurate tiger for work.

He often looks really good off the bench, then starts based on that and is far less effective so goes back to the bench.
