@nzzp well a cloud is in the sky, tree is on the earth...foster is the wind?
... the third element? Hot air?
The bar. Foster is a beer, MacLeod sounds like a vineyard and Plumtree sounds like a cider.
They charge 9.99 for a 500 ml Pilsner with Kaitaia fire thrown in. I did the typical Scots alternative, got a heinie and added my own hot sauce but it sank to the bottom.

To be fair you’ve nailed my Achilles heel quite well, awkward with cricket coaching season upon us

@KiwiMurph Have to be one of those two, if Sevu is still going to be released to Ta$man.
I reckon we'll now see:
Smith, Mo'unga, Clarke, ALB, Goodhue, Barrett, Barrett
Perenara, Ioane, Jordan - picking another "wing" makes more sense than picking another "fullback".
If Bridge was fit I hope they were seriously thinking a Barrett/Bridge/Clarke back 3.

Watching the Breakdown from Tuesday to see Grant Fox. He seems unusually defensive, particularly about the back selection. Very closed body language.
Very un Fox-like I'd say. Seems agitated. Doesn't fill me with joy. He's either got shingles (and can't sit comfortably), or he's genuinely concerned.
Fox starts about 20 minutes in

@Machpants not a sessionable beer though!!
Just one was great, 2 less so

So, Jordan was spotting George doing bench press ... ?

@nzzp I saw him speak at an event last year prior to RWC squad selection, were a couple of curly questions, and he didnt seem to want to answer them then either and seemed a bit defensive then too, maybe just doesnt like being questioned about the decisions??
Which is shit, given his role, but maybe he just getting grumpy old man syndrome?
-
@Yeetyaah Dmac had his moments but JB @15 and a winger > than DM at 15 and JB at wing

in fairness, he seems to make himself available plenty fo times - they went out of their way to say this on the show.
That said, he couldn't sit still. Even bounced the microphone around waiting for questions. Mils sitting beside him was a veteran broadcaster by comparison - measured and stable by comparison

I actually thought that was pretty good, especially after everyone complaining about The Breakdown in the other thread.
They asked some good questions and I thought Foxy answered them pretty well even if he was a bit agitated.
I might watch the rest of the show at some stage now.

Definitely defensive though - leading about 'you can't want the ABs to win all the time, and also want a contest - if we have a contest sometimes we lose'. I dunno, as i said, seemed very defensive and agitated.
Look, it's one interview. Let's win by 50 this weekend and then everynoe will calm down
