All fine that you don’t have confidence in Foster but pumping up the Boks and Poms when they aren’t playing any test rugby and they are going through transitions themselves, is a little presumptive

I don’t think so You only have to look at last year that was not that far ago.And where SA and England can be again I don’t see we have progressed much from the end of Hansen’s area looks kind of the same to me.

I am looking forward to 2023 are you saying SA and England will be shit then not as shit as we might be if we don’t change the coach

How many tests have they won in 2020? Who are their shining lights as players in 2020?

What’s last year got to do with what’s in front of us? In the context of test rugby, last year seems an eternity ago given there will be for the first time in eons a test schedule for tier 1 sides like never before in the pro era.

It’s been a disrupted year with Super rugby, a key preparation for test rugby, a new coaching team, new players, new captain. I don’t mind that we will have some bumps in the road and Foster has work to do no doubt but I don’t share your pessimism about what lies ahead.

So whilst normally I would be having an eye on all NH tests sides and also what’s happening on 3Ns/4Ns, right now, it doesn’t matter one iota. We’ve got Oz and Argies and that’s it. No point thinking right now thinking about hypothetical England or Springbok showdowns.

Your opinion but if you don’t look forward you lose games that matter like WC semi Finals
Because you bluff through on the same BS

@ACT-Crusader I dunno, it’s worth thinking about building a team that can win multiple ways.

This template was found wanting in 2019 and so far has been 50/50 against a rebuilding Oz team that has none of the strengths of an English or Bok team that we have been struggling to beat recently.

So all good to focus on the Bledisloe, but one eye on the future isn’t that unreasonable.

What's being silly about that? You're the one touting imaginary teams as being top of the pile, so why don't you fill us in on how good their players are this year and their test record?

I reckon SA will be reeeeeealy dominant after not playing any test rugby for 2 years eh.

Oooh gosh, look at him, he must be incompetent because overweight.

He was a better rugby player than just about every one of you fluffybunnys on here.

And what have you skinny runts achieved in your long illustrious rugby careers?

Speaking as a fat fluffybunny myself.

    But whatever floats your boat.

A wee bit sensitive ? worse has been said about others on here.
    You can’t help human nature.

Maybe. But it gets a little childish.

Sure he could lose a few kilos but I fail to see the correlation between weight and coaching ability.

There's no correlation between fat and can/can't coach. However:
I fail to see the correlation between his rugby playing ability and his coaching ability, but you've brought that up.
I also fail to see the correlation between his coaching results and his job appointment.

    And Foster is still shit.

    Based on?

50% win rate with ABs, even sorse with Chiefs, picking Bridge and Jordie as wings, being a bloater?

    Just guesses

    Undefeated.

Jeez I’ve changed my view if the Chiefs went undefeated when he was head coach

All fine that you don’t have confidence in Foster but pumping up the Boks and Poms when they aren’t playing any test rugby and they are going through transitions themselves, is a little presumptive

I don’t think so You only have to look at last year that was not that far ago.And where SA and England can be again I don’t see we have progressed much from the end of Hansen’s area looks kind of the same to me.

I am looking forward to 2023 are you saying SA and England will be shit then not as shit as we might be if we don’t change the coach

How many tests have they won in 2020? Who are their shining lights as players in 2020?

    Don’t be silly

What's being silly about that? You're the one touting imaginary teams as being top of the pile, so why don't you fill us in on how good their players are this year and their test record?

I reckon SA will be reeeeeealy dominant after not playing any test rugby for 2 years eh.

    You are being silly again

I think you're right. Extremely silly to think there might be some substance behind your waffle. I should know better.

Well there you go sorted in your mind Excellent

Well if it was in my mind only, then I guess you'd back up what you're saying instead of giving lame one liners right?

I have explained myself it’s getting boring,if you don’t understand or want to that’s fine.
    We move on.

England wuz good last year. Is that it?

You are getting there but not quite

Right. And if they scrape past the baabaas this weekend what is last year worth? Who's in the team from last year?

When will last year's team be named?

    You know?

I'm thinking the fat jokes / jibes are kind of immature.

Both of which are fair points.

I suppose my poorly made point is his ability as an athlete has exceeded (most of) ours but we're quite happy to throw stones at his current health or apparent lack thereof.

As for his actual ability let's hang on and see what happens over time. So far unbeaten as AB coach. Sure Super Rugby was a mixed bag.

I do have reservations about his selections.
