@Nepia oh yeah because Lowe is so amazing. Is he related to one of you blokes it’s something, seriously the amount of times you Hb blokes rave about someone so limited in ability really is something to behold. I suppose he’s really good by Hawkes Bay standards.
Also go back and watch those first few HB games of the year. Ili was the guy breaking the line and making Lowe look good, not the other way round.
As @Stargazer says you're making a fool of yourself. At any rate I've never been as big a fan of Lowe as he is while not under rating him like some Canes fans do, but we're comparing him to another Magpies player so it's not like we're rating him higher than one of your precious Wellingtonians.
Funnily enough I'm assuming Stacey must be your brother considering how much you're fluffing him and as I've said multiple times I thought he was great last year. Also, he's barely put Lowe away this year, Lowe has made most of his metres returning kicks and in traffic near the rucks, not because he's been put into space.

@Nepia I have no reason to rate Ili, in fact I don’t really care as I’m not an HB supporter. From what I’ve seen though Ili has been in fine form. Better than some of my so called precious Wellingtonioans infact.
Lowe being the best back in Hawkes Bay as you both say is no mean feet anyway. In fact it’s a cripple fight looking at that backline. You have someone who’s nearly 40 playing fullback, you have a washed up Blues wing playing 14, you have two kids in the halves. If Lowe wasn’t the best back in the Bay then I would be seriously worried.
When you compare Lowe to other players in NZ though he’s very underwhelming.

Oh, so you're just on the troll, don't waste your money on that popcorn @MN5

Solid signing, hopefully he can get back to his best.
-
@Canes4life only a year tho, sadly

TJ Perenara has confirmed on the Hurricanes Instagram that he will be off to Japan on a short term contract next year and will miss Super Rugby Aotearoa.
-
ideas on who you'll get in? dont know if Kayne Hammington is still with us next year, wellington boy etc and he might struggle for game time behind fakatava, assuming we see him as the future
-
@Kiwiwomble And behind Jamie Booth as well as he was behind him when they were both at Manawatu.

Id like to see some more of Collins. Would need to bulk but he looked class in his last stint (v NH). maybe he's a possibility as the third HB

@Winger Jerry Collins would be a nightmare for opposing halfbacks. Sadly we will never get to see that spectacle.

@Kiwiwomble not too sure, Booth will be the obvious starter. Has Fakatava re-signed? He could be an option if the Canes can lure him away from Dunners.
I also really like what I saw from Connor Collins vs Harbour the other day, he has a good pass and a sound boot on him.
Other options are Roe if the Chiefs haven’t already locked him in.
Maybe one of the Crusader halfbacks could use this as an opportunity to push for a starting berth. Enari surely can’t be happy sitting behind Hall and Drummond.
Knowing the Canes though they will probably opt for Hauiti-Parapara who has been underwhelming but seems to be loved by the coaches.

Surely not (but after Blackwell anything is possible)
