Hurricanes v Crusaders

Their outside backs showed glimpses of what they could do, but most of the time were either living off scraps or taking poor options (Aso and Tiatia in particular).
Crusaders still the team to beat. Already a gap beginning to emerge between the teams. Is the comp being overhyped a bit or is that a bit harsh?
Still a great Competion I think.But it does show as a country we lack depth in some areas.

He's defensively really average too though

Umm, weather yesterday kind of makes that comparison “slightly” skewed.

Depressingly predictable result, if anything the Hurricanes offered a bit more resistance than expected. Backline looked better than against the Blues, but Forward pack far too powder puff, apart from Tyrel Lomax and Afasa Aumua. No one who can break the line and get go forward ball.
For the Crusaders, Cullen Grace, Will Jordan, Jack Goodhue and David Havili on his return all looked sharp.

Jordan would good with the AB 14 jersey on his back.
Could be a very good Ben Smith style winger.George Bridge is Caleb Ralph mkII. There are so many better options than him.
The form 14 in NZ is Mark Telea. Jordan has to improve his defensive reads on the wing. I prefer him with the 15 jersey.

Then he goes on Instagram talking shit about other players not playing for smaller provinces. Dude has a massive ego and a shit attitude.

Wa kinda reminded of the Cantab disdain for Akira.

Was a bizarre sort of game. Don’t have too many issues with the reffing because as we’ve seen the new laws/interpretations have troubled all sides at the breakdown.
Hall / Mo’unga combination makes a huge difference for us.

Bridge was Bridge. Unless he gets give the ball 20m out with plenty of space to run straight over the line he’s not going to add much #betterwingerthanriekothough

Yep had a great work rate got through alot of work for the Crusaders
Saved us a few times on D -
@ACT-Crusader Interesting, I thought Drummond made a difference when he came on. I didn't think Mo'unga and Hall were THAT good not that they did anything wrong.
