England v Wales

Tipuric got a try at the end. Finished 33-30. Neither side that impressive. England a bit better up front and in the three-quarters.
Wales need to sort out their defence. England need to reduce the number of obvious cheap shots or face the consequences.

Hope Scotland lose tomorrow so we don't have to hear how England would have won the 6N if only the Italy match hadn't been cancelled
-
Watching the first half and there's more stoppage time than in play.
How England aren't further ahead against such a poor Welsh team... Stationary players passing to stationary players.

Just watching this now, 12 minutes in, and I've already exclaimed “what a fluffybunny” twice. Each time, Owen Farrell.
It's as if now that Mike Brown isn't around, Farrell's stepped up to the fluffybunny plate, and claiming it for his own.Easily the most punchable face in world rugby.

Sexual assualt missed too
Marler can be cited for that under Law 9.27 (A player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship including but not limited to ... Grabbing, twisting or squeezing the genitals.
Low-end range starts with 12 weeks suspension (mid-range: 18 weeks/ high-end: 24+ weeks). Not sure Marler is someone with a clean judicial record, so he might not get the usual 50% deduction. Could be out for a while if cited and found guilty.
He could possibly also face a criminal charge for sexual assault?

@MiketheSnow haaaa brilliant.
How dare he make light of such a serious situation though!

Was up at Twickenham for the game but had unfortunate seats (and a lot of beer) and really couldn’t follow the game very well. Was interested to hear the views here before watching the recorded match. Thoughts:-
-
Farrell is intrinsic to much of what England do, but he behaves like a cock far too often. He really needs to rein it in.
-
High and no arms tackles. Numerous instances from both sides. No issue with the red card, poor technique and a falling George North but no arms so recklessness was there. I thought the clothes line on Young’s in the build up to Daly’s try was worse, although not so dangerous. I felt the dangerous tackle issue was not handled well at all.
-
Marler’s cock tickle. Stupid, no place for it but let’s not pretend anyone’s life was in danger.
-
Gareth Thomas. Funny as fuck.

Just watched the Tuilagi tackle. Red all day - flew in, no arms, and first contact is to the head. Eddie Jones has gone off the deep end, but he's dead set wrong.

Yeah, no issue with it really, if North hadn’t have been tackled and was falling it was still a no arms tackle. The falling and consequent head contact made it a red. That bit was unfortunate. Nice touch between the two of them afterwards, Tuilagi obviously knew he’d fucked up and accepted it. North’s response was spot on too.

yep, but from a bloke with a history of concussion (and Wales putting him back out when he's been concussed) it's not what ya want to see

Yeah, it does seem that Wales keep picking him when Common sense would suggest otherwise but you’d have to think they follow protocols.
