No one fired up about this team being leaked is indicative of the mire we're in this week 😀
They could roll out Fozzie at first 5 for all I care
it's fucking Derby day!!!

Jack Manchester?
They were adjusting to the 3-4-1 scrum from the 2-3-3 IIRC. Major change in play for the AB's
Didn't they lose to England as well?
That's him.

Trying to combine send offs, with giving squad a run and wanting a performance I'd like to see:
Moody/Coles/Laulala/BBBR/Barrett (S)/Cane(assuming Todd not 100%)/Frizell/Read/Weber/Mo'unga/SBW/Crotty/Ioane/Bender/BB with bench of Moli/Coltman/Ta'avao/Patty T/Todd/TJP/Goodhue/Bridge
-
The matchday 23 is as follows (Test caps in brackets):

-
Nepo Laulala (24)
-

plenty to read into that team.
-
Yeah it certainly isn't a B team, not a tippity top team, but not far off. Be really interesting to see how Bender and Ioane go!
It also give some key people to get back in the saddle. Sadly we are missing 2019s best AB in Savea, but does give Frizzell a chance to look to the future surrounded by top players.
-
That's a good team. With the Welsh having injury worries and a short turnaround, this could be a +25 point win.

Swap the 2 and the 5 around please But yes, Wales are up against it IF the ABs show teh right attitude and commitment
And to make it obvious: those that miss out are Tuungafasi, Taylor, Whitelock, Savea (knee), Perenara, Goodhue, Bridge and Reece. Also shows how small the RWC squads are!!
-
my main concern is a number of those players have played next to no rugby for almost a month, I know they are quality, but hopefully rustiness and sentimentality wont break over 60 years of tradition...
-
We haven't won a third place play off since 1991!

Key Facts
• The All Blacks and Wales have played each other 34 times, with 31 wins to the All Blacks and three to Wales. Friday's bronze final will be the fourth time the two teams have meet at the Rugby World Cup. They played in the semifinal of the 1987 RWC and in pool play in 1995 and 2003.
• All Blacks coach Steve Hansen was the Wales coach at the 2003 tournament and is in the unique position of having coached both the All Blacks and Wales against each other at a Rugby World Cup.
• Captain Kieran Read will become the second most capped All Blacks captain on Friday when he leads the side for the 52nd time. He is behind Richie McCaw, who captained the All Blacks 110 times.
• Prop Angus Ta'avao will have played every test this year for the All Blacks - 11 in total.
• Beauden Barrett has scored 644 points in tests for the All Blacks and is fourth on the all-time scoring list, just one point behind Grant Fox in third place. Andrew Mehrtens is second on 967 points and Dan Carter leads the list on 1,598.

wonder what his win % is in comparison to McCaw? Assume has to be less.

Like this. Thought Nugget might get a rest, but that's a serious backline and will be an interesting comparison with Saturday.
Forwards exactly as I expected.
ALB and Jordie make sense on bench as cover so many eventualities.
And fans everywhere, including many English, want to see ABs show some Formula One rugby (BUT the right to go wide STILL has to be EARNED!!!!).
I'll be there...

Read has lost 7 tests and drawn 1. He won his first 19 tests as captain, which is a record.
The most amazing fact is that DC has nearly as many points as the 2nd and 3rd players combined.

84% win. Not too shoddy!
