Maybe an early red card for a big SA forward (i.e Etzebeth or Vermeulen) could change the probable outcome of this QF.
A red card for any Bok would cause problems.
Same applies to Japan and in fact every team playing in the Quarters.
I really hope cards do not play a role in any of these games - but given the track record to date that is 99% unrealistic.Avoiding Skeeny as your TMO has helped you on this front.
England vs Oz looks most likely to be affected by a red card.

England must be due a "controversial" card

You couldn't really call it controversial with that team of officials....

No you couldn't - "expected" might be a better word, and England have Farrell.
Probably get told off as these comments are all in the wrong thread.

A 6:2 split in the reserves.
Not hard to guess at the Bok game-plan then...
Does anyone have any info on the venue and weather?
I'm clearly to lazy to look it up myself
In my defence, I will add that I was hoping for some Ferner insight as opposed to bland web info -

Four locks plus Pieter Steph!
Some statistics intern probably said, "He boss demographics says all Japanese are short, why dont we just play all our locks and just pass it above head height, they will never get the ball."

Mostert barely qualifies as a lock in that team!
Mostert - 198cm, 112kg
vs
Steph dT - 200cm, 120kg
Etzebeth - 203cm, 123kg
de Jager - 205cm, 125kg
Snyman - 207cm, 117kg -

@NTA 😂 what height are their expected opponents?
Starting back 5 against Scotland:
- Luke Thompson - 196cm, 110kg
- James Moore - 195cm, 110kg
- Michael Leitch - 189cm, 99kg
- Pieter Labuschagne - 189cm, 107kg
- Kazuki Himeno - 187cm, 108kg
Reserves:
- Uwe Helu - 193cm, 115kg
- Hendrik Tui - 189cm, 109kg
Not one of them over 196cm or 115kg.
