BB was totally knackered in the end of the game vs Canada. It's not often that he gets caught when put in space with a lead of several meters. He must get a rest in order to avoid an injury.

He ran like 190m with ball in hand or something - clearly just getting through a ton of work.

Pffft that's only like one Hennie Muller isn't it?

    Not even ehoa.

By my calcs a HM using the tryline (Not the side line) is 384m.

Yeah it's been so long I've forgotten. Diagonally from corner to corner and across the tryline?

    Yeah.

Add 60m if you do the diagonal and touchlines ...

Can backs really not back up with 4 days rest? They're only backs it's not like they get their shirts dirty. I see no reason why any of them would need a rest other than not wanting to risk a freak injury.

Listening to the AB video, Beaudy said they've got two days training before the next match. Sounds like the coaches want to get as much work done as possible leaving little in the tank for the game.

I've probably missed a lot but has Hanson mentioned any potential 3rd string #10 other than TJP and Jordie?

Surely Mo'unga and Beady will be mostly rested for this next one.

I'd like to see Jordie there and TJP on the bench to replace him at half time with Beaudy on the bench as a hopefully unneeded insurance.

Rissole Ioane as he looks a bit lost

Thought he was showing some signs of getting his mojo back today.

    Some nice touches against Canada.

Reckon you give him another run v Namibia to again try and run him into form

Genuine question - To what end?

I agree he starts against Namibia, but short of an injury to Bridge and Reece in training, this duo starts against Italy and then the QF.

Namibia really miss Jacques Burger. Had that manic aggressive energy that lifts everyone around him.

What happens if George pulls a hammie vs Italy?

@Hooroo Uhm, no, maybe the same as the team naming for the Canada game?

That would be 3:00 this which is great. I just thought it would be earlier due to earlier kick off.

@Hooroo Hansen cares not for trivial details like that...he just knows he is messing with everyone expecting any kind of consistency.

Stuff has a second-by-second Countdown clock therefore if you so choose you can watch the seconds until that glorious moment when the team is actually named. Genius journalism, I love it!
