Who is the AB's 4th choice at 10?

I'm sure Jordie can play a bit of 10.

Still, this feels like a 1st world problem type thread.
Does it, what! To elaborate:
-
@NTA what you’re not liking the resurgence of Quade to build 1st 5 depth in OZ?

Actually I think it can only be a good thing - but the hilarious part: everyone's talking about how awesome he's looking because he's "underplaying his hand". Nobody is talking about the razzle dazzle bullshit that saw him get into so much trouble.
"Oh," I said to a Queenslander, "you mean doing the basics and enabling everyone around him, aiming for a match result without any stupid shit? Much like Foley does?"
They were not pleased.

@Canes4life I don't trust Jordie's decision-making abilities one single bit (for a ten). He's still making many mistakes, and the halves have far less time for decision-making than outside backs, or even midfielders.
You say that as if the other options are any more trustworthy. At least Jordie has plenty of test experience already. I'd far prefer him to the other 10s mentioned in this thread.
FFS is this Jordie guy some kind of superhero or something?
He's a 12! No he's a 10!
He has been blooded in positions where traditionally errors don't matter too much but good play can shine and even then he has proved fallible in his decision making.
He had a headline making game on the wing against Italy but (I was at the game and watched him off camera) he was out of position quite a bit and DMac spent half the game directing him.He is undoubtedly a skilled rugby player but give the kid a chance to settle in with some experience before declaring he can fill in in the most critical position in the team.

40 posts and no mention of Parker. He'd easily be my preference...can't otago sign him for NPC?
Yeah I think we could easily play off 9, like first lions test, and have him kick goals from everywhere, in an emergency. That's be fucking ironic turning the ABs into Ireland /NH team

Steady on, nobody is advocating converting him into a 10. We're just discussing who we would want in an emergency. None of the options are good - Marty fucking McKenzie's name is in the conversation, fuuuuuck that.
-
I reckon Hansen would ask for a special dispensation for one of the offshore 10s - most likely Cruden or Slade (just maybe Danny boy) - whichever is playing better footy. Would we blow our RWC foot off over principles?
But, if Hansen wasn't allowed that - Otere Black.

The hope is he will play Super Rugby this year.
As a blues supporter i hope not!

Having a good boot isn't exclusive to running a good backline.

what's funny is running in a few tries against Italy has allowed people to completely forget that it came only a couple of weeks after one of the worst individual performances i have seen from an AB v Japan. Hilariously inept.

I pay no mind to the Italy game at all, it's his performances when he first made the ABs that stand out - notably a MOTM performance against the Lions on debut. So unlike all of the other options, he's performed at the very top level.
-
Ok loooooong looooong way from any AB squad I'll grant you that, but I wouldn't mind another look at Orbyn Leger. Chiefs started him in the aearly rounds but he seems to have lost out to MMac currently.
Debraseenee would be an interesting choice if he could stay unbroken and manage some decent game time. -

Dude. Lauaki vs Aus 2008. And that game actually meant something.
Obviously I'm a Jordie fan but starting him at 10 seems a tad risky. I think he could be a decent 10 but he needs far more time there. I'm thinking that if we are desperate, and assuming he isn't injured as usual, that maybe Crotty could slot in there.
