Good teams find a way to win
You boys should know that -
-
That was a total and utter implosion from France. Hopeless 2nd half.

@Machpants Aki was a starter for the Chiefs and was class - he should have been an AB instead of Francis Saili who they picked instead.
Nope. He wasn't good enough for the ABs.
He was better than Francis Saili who was an AB.
Not back then he wasn't.
He most certainly was. Saili was an awful selection. Heβs gone on to rugby oblivion in the north. Meanwhile aki is a lynchpin of the Irish midfield.

It's up there with Zac Guildford getting in the ABs ahead of Sean Maitland for mine.

Now for the Micks to smash the Toffs
In one fell swoop kill their Triple Crown, Grand Slam and Championship on weekend one π -
Serin was a prodigy when he first hit the scene.
Initially a fine starter.
Not so any more.
He stank the pitch up.

Hope they both lose ...
Nil all draw?

Again, how the fuck are Wales #3 in the world? They've created fucking nothing in this game, and got some outrageous luck.
I've got a real problem with the first Welsh try. Yes the French defenders clocked off, but the Welsh runner ran behind not only his own players, but also the ruck and the ref. That's not right.
Barnes has done the Welsh a couple of pretty big favours too.
Look, credit for the win in shit conditions against a committed but limited French team, but that was an ordinary performance.
-
Congrats on the win Mike.
Hump the begrudgers is what I always say, before they hump you.
-
Running behind the ruck and ref have always been legal.
Or do you wish to forbid either?
-
The Welsh shouldn't apologise for taking the chances offered. The French should apologise to their fans.

Nah, they should apologise for needing to rely on brain explosions to win.
disclaimer: haven't seen the game

France won the first half comfortably
We won the second, and the match
Terrible game management from France
They bottled it
Must have been on the Gitanes and Cognac at half-time -
Credit to the Welsh side and Welsh coaching team for that. They were poor in the first half and had some poor decisions from Barnes go against them, but stuck at it. They waiting for their chances and took them.
Dreadful, dreadful passing and game management from the French backline before North's intercept. Rather than spending millions of Euros on paying pensions for ex-All Blacks, shouldn't Rugby France be spending some resources on coaching their backline how to pass?
