Liked A Savea's contribution for a change, though I would have preferred him on for Squire. Cane is so good!
Harris had a stinker (once again, first lineout throw goes awry) again, and I think that was the first time Rieko has not fired a shot in black.

How awesome were these defensive lineouts!
Aussies were good defensively for 38 minutes. Their attack was blunt the whole game, though. I'm sure Cheika will find some way to blame the referee for that one ("Naholo should have been red carded after ten minutes, the whole complexion would have changed").

Regarding the Naholo-Folau thing, looked definitely like Folau propelled himself upwards with his standing leg, probably not to milk a pen but just to get to ground. Still bad technique by Naholo and worthy of a YC

    Naholo 4/10. Made up by being 40 % 10/10 and 60% 10/10

Barrett was awesome. Created so many points.

    Not sure I follow.

Did you get the same maths teacher who taught @MiketheSnow geometry?

Fuck! Was so proud of that post too ... too late now but will fix ...

Really like Goodhue. Seems very mature and calm.
    Gives off a good hue.

Imagine how the Aucklanders feel-can finally support a winning team! Even better, Fortress Auckland next week.

That was our most second half points ever against Australia.

I have reported this post. Puns like that are worthy of a ban IMO.

He’s an amazing rugby player, just not a 1st give to win a WC.

    What Donald was better?

Lock Goodhue in for centre, was a great performance

Who plays 12 with him will be the big talking point to come .

Jordie. Have I ever mentioned he should be at 12?

If the baby stopes crying, on the re-watch tomorrow I'll try to test my in-game feeling that Barrett isn't the 10 we need.

More of these and the Aussies will get bruised ankles from holding them so tight...

Best I've felt after a test match for a while

Was bloody cautious about this one. Thought the Aussies had turned a corner with the last 2 bled games last year. Thought I saw some overdue belief that grew vs Ireland.

But by Christ did we fuck with that belief from 38 minutes tonight!!

Wondering if that lateral ball shuffling in the first half was a cunning baldrick.

Well done Hansen and co and mostly players (pretty much all of them really).

Soul destroying loss for our fellow ANZACs?

Well that was a hard first half to watch and a fun second.

Damn, BBBR is just awesome, that performance shows how much we miss him even when our other locks play awesome.

Hope Reiko isn't injured? I think he did well to not be a hungus and passed inside well when he probably could have gone himself.

Goodhue had an awesome test, when he was running away for his try it was like watching Conrad Smith - they're both relative snails for midfielders but have other strengths that balance it out. His only bad note was taking out Pakeha Jesus. His combination with ALB was decent as well.

Read and Cane had strong matches and Franks had one of his best open field matches in a long time (warming up for his 100th next week).

Barrett great in open play but average first half running the game, bad intercept though that @gt12 noted would send the Fern into a meltdown if DMac had been the one to throw it. Speaking of DMac, now good is it with Barrett and DMac feeding off each other - takes me back to when we had AC/DC and Barrett.

Ben Smith's running game got better and better as the game went on, rumours of his demise can be put to bed now.

Hungus Maddocks got a try but blew an earlier one. I think a lot of Wallabies defended well in the first half (come to think of it so did the ABs) which contributed to the low scoring half.

Congrats to Sam Whitelock, what a great knock.

That's the worst winning performance i can remember, and we hammered them.

Beauden Barrett is Simon Mannix with wheels. If he was slow, he would be an NPC player.

Our pack is good, retallic and read are the two players that elevate us to great.

I am biased, but a great defensive lineout us the best weapon in rugby.

Turn over ball in to points wins it. And that's with s ome sloppy stuff in those passages. Fuck knows what we take out of it? Defend well, win set piece.

Took a big step out of dmacphobic closet today when seeing him at first receiver with a spacious B Barrett outside him vs a tiring defence

One positive for the Aussies. The crowd was 66k. Up from 54k (last year's Homebush crowd).

And what of the Wallabies? Well selected, in form, well prepared, opposition dont play great, and they get hammered at home

Smashed at set piece. Unable to generate anything with the ball they got. This has to be soul destroying.

What is the point of Hooper and Pocock? Pocock is good at turnover penalties, but not quick turnover ball. Made the most tackles though. So what is hooper doing? Can they play both and actually win? Especially if it hampers the set piece?

If folau is gone they are fucked
