Great 2nd 40, blew them off the park.

BBBR is just amazing, comfortably the most influential player in the game right now. So good to have him back. Loved the way we just dismantled their lineout and he was at the heart of that, not to mention just dominating every other facet of the match.

Goodhue all class, lock him in at centre. The next Conrad Smith, and I don't say that lightly.

Naholo bloody lucky not to concede a YC at the start of the game but ended up having a bit of a stormer. Got to see his leathal running game which was great.

If the Wallabies want to go with us they just can't afford to crumble at set piece. No chance when you can't even win your own ball.

Plenty of work-ons but can't complain with that in the end. Roll on Eden Park.

    Naholo 4/10. Made up by being 40 % 10/10 and 60% 0/10

Barrett was awesome. Created so many points.

Lock Goodhue in for centre, was a great performance

Who plays 12 with him will be the big talking point to come .

@mikethesnow I keep thinking of McCaw when I see him play. Massive motor, makes the basics look very easy, calm personality, good decision maker...

Goodhue sealed his place for the rest of the season with that performance. Dare I say that he reminds me a lot of Conrad?

Yep. Not flashy but maintains momentum and continuity.

His defence is top notch too.

    Not sure I follow.

Did you get the same maths teacher who taught @MiketheSnow geometry?

@booboo I think he meant 420. At least that'd explain that maths...

Liked A Savea's contribution for a change, though I would have preferred him on for Squire. Cane is so good!
Harris had a stinker (once again, first lineout throw goes awry) again, and I think that was the first time Rieko has not fired a shot in black.

How awesome were these defensive lineouts!
Aussies were good defensively for 38 minutes. Their attack was blunt the whole game, though. I'm sure Cheika will find some way to blame the referee for that one ("Naholo should have been red carded after ten minutes, the whole complexion would have changed").

Regarding the Naholo-Folau thing, looked definitely like Folau propelled himself upwards with his standing leg, probably not to milk a pen but just to get to ground. Still bad technique by Naholo and worthy of a YC

Imagine how the Aucklanders feel-can finally support a winning team! Even better, Fortress Auckland next week.

That was our most second half points ever against Australia.

I have reported this post. Puns like that are worthy of a ban IMO.

He’s an amazing rugby player, just not a 1st give to win a WC.

    What Donald was better?
