@kirwan still too many errors for me. I wouldn't want him in the wet or a tight game, against a forward dominant team. Like last week.
I still prefer him at fullback, in the old B.B. supersub role
-
@shadowtrooper agree it’s about balance in a team.

That will be his role , tonight was about getting experience to cover an emergency I reckon

@taniwharugby Is Ben Smith still going to be in the team next year?
Not based on this series.
-
I would be happy to see Cane and Todd with Akira at 8
-
@shadowtrooper I'd like to see Cane and Todd with Taufua at 8.
-
Not bad at all. I'd written off SB before the AB season but he was my MoM today. Hope he can back that up and it's not just one week on one week off.
Have never been much of a Todd fan, but he's good, really good.
I think DMac is potentially a very good 10. He just needs a couple of years playing there every week. Still a bit too scatterbrained, but he's worth sticking with.

Pretty successful series at developing 10 options. Dmac looks the goods in the old BB role and can probably start if needed. With these three playing this well, we are looking much better for 2019.
I think B Smith might have to go to wing for the Landers, and get a bit of form there. I can’t see him keeping Jordie out of 15 all the way to the WC anyway.

Bloody hell. What a horrendous pass from Naholo.
In the running for worst on ground
You warming to BFA 14 Jordie 15 yet?

You hate winning lineouts?
-
@mariner4life I'm assuming big Brodie will be back soon.
-
We win people complain, we play with lots out people complain, come on fern sort yourself out!!!!
we have not played for at least year with our first choice team (Lions 1st test?) yet have won.
What did Naholo do for the abuse? for me it shows NMS is maybe never going to wear black again, Naholo D up, he got over the advantage line with ever touch, play didnt go his way a lot but he did what the team asked.
You think with a bit more power back, say BBBR, Squire (Yes), Coles, Read up front I like what we showed. SBW came back and played awesome. Don't think you could ask more from the team that ran out.
For me Barrett p.o.d. Todd showed why he should be in for Savea, SBW best back. Mackenzie played well but evry now and the has a howler but will be better for it. -

2 guys doesn't win you test lineouts. Ask Australia for the last 4 years
-
@mariner4life The Crusaders have been using Taufua in the line-out. Their line-out has working very well this season.
-
Wait, i projected. I honestly thought he said Taufua not Akira.
I could live with cane todd and akira.
Fuck. Now i am messing up my posts. Taufua is too short. You can use one short guy if you have talls everywhere else. And at super rugby level. At test level you need options, tall options.

Jesus. UK presenter saying it's been a very competitive series. The French haven't even got within ten points have they? They got pasted in 2 games and lost 3-zip. Good grief.
France turned up to play though. They tried to play some positive rugby and had us under pressure at times. I think we would have learnt a lot from the series. Winning 49-14 and being up 42-0 at halftime is a different story.
