they tried the same move as in the WC final 2011 but O Franks is just a terrible ball runner

Also the front pod didn't take out the french defenders like in that final. Close the gap!!

Okay. That shouldn't be a red. Intent should count.

What? He didn't intend to be a fucking idiot? Too stupid to know what he was doing?

    Calm the fuck down.

Eyes on the ball. Gets a shoulder from ioane just before contact. Bangs in to a guy who jumps. Never grabs. Doesn't run through him. Yellow all day. But i think a red needs a higher threshold.

I respectfully disagree. That was incredibly dangerous. He was never going to get that ball. He barely left the ground ffs. Clear red all day.

Outcome was dangerous. But i think the player needs to have some intent to injure before a red becomes an option.

I am aware i am in disagreement with the laws here, and it's just an opinion.

I don't like that the same action gets a different card if barrett doesnt land on his head.

How would you accurately judge intent? Keeping eyes on ball as you break a guys neck?

Do you think he meant to tip him on his head?

Irrelevant. Ben Smith pulled out of a contest last weekend because he did what Fall should have done. Checked his path while looking to contest the ball. Had he done it for a split second, he could have checked his run and smashed Beaudy when he landed.

The French 15 was stupid. A near miss a few minutes before went unpunished and he didn't take the hint

@gunner DMAC has chosen to run lines for himself the first two touches, rather than distribute.

    He's not a five-eighth's arse.

Haha go quick tap, pass to the slow whitelock, barrett falls over, turnover.

Both teams know this game is a foregone conclusion

Are red cards going to end up being 30 or 40 mins + the player is out of the game?

Jesus H Christ, that ball came half a metre out the back of the ruck before Parra kicked it back in.

I wish the refs would open their fucking eyes a bit more.

I think they could see how Owen Frank's goes there and still win comfortably

@tim imo unless it is for a punch, kick or that kind of action, player goes off, other team can replace him after 10

Lots of first up missed tackles by ABs but French losing support players and ABs turning over. But the French ain't winning anything with their lineout they brought on tour

No one can convince me that a test footballer can't judge his run in that situation. That wasn't even a 70:30 situation

I don't understand why a tap kick to himself is not a tap kick restart of play.

Ref is too lenient on that habit if you ask me.

Looks like we got a game within a game here - flat ball, red card, player tapping ball to himself trying to catch ABs out - what next??

We're losing the physical stuff and the ruck.

We look utter shit on both sides of the ball
