All Blacks v France Test #2

The ref had no choice, but the game has been screwed. Was looking for a close, hard-fought game - this could end up being a training run.
-
DMac at five-eighth, so technically it's still an even game.

Does a HIA fail automatically mean he's concussed?
Think it means they held up a hand with 3 fingers showing and asked Barrett how many do you see? He replies Thursday.
-
Ah. Liam „goes missing“ squire.
-
Ruined test but that's the laws and ref had no choice. But for me this is the French, they need to deal with it and not capitulate. Last year vs Lions ABs lost SBW and led for most of game. All about mentality as was shown last week.

Okay. That shouldn't be a red. Intent should count.
What? He didn't intend to be a fucking idiot? Too stupid to know what he was doing?
Calm the fuck down.
Eyes on the ball. Gets a shoulder from ioane just before contact. Bangs in to a guy who jumps. Never grabs. Doesn't run through him. Yellow all day. But i think a red needs a higher threshold.
I respectfully disagree. That was incredibly dangerous. He was never going to get that ball. He barely left the ground ffs. Clear red all day.
Outcome was dangerous. But i think the player needs to have some intent to injure before a red becomes an option.
I am aware i am in disagreement with the laws here, and it's just an opinion.
I don't like that the same action gets a different card if barrett doesnt land on his head.
How would you accurately judge intent? Keeping eyes on ball as you break a guys neck?

Yes. He has to pass one this week, before he can play again.

And it will be claimed by media that he is capable of playing 10 for the ABs because they’ve had a comfortable win.

No idea. That's the point.

In basketball we call it tunnelling. It is a cardinal sin to attack the guy when he is jumping in the air

they tried the same move as in the WC final 2011 but O Franks is just a terrible ball runner
Also the front pod didn't take out the french defenders like in that final. Close the gap!!

Irrelevant. Ben Smith pulled out of a contest last weekend because he did what Fall should have done. Checked his path while looking to contest the ball. Had he done it for a split second, he could have checked his run and smashed Beaudy when he landed.

@gunner DMAC has chosen to run lines for himself the first two touches, rather than distribute.
He's not a five-eighth's arse.
