Whoever did those phonetics did a terrible job.
The one for Ngani are by far the worst.
I also thought O'Reilly could have done with them because there's a few ways of pronouncing that in my head.
This is all Nisbett's fault - he spent so long stuffing up names now we're going phonetic crazy.

8 Gareth Evans (Gareth Evans)
6 Brad Shields (c) (Brad Shields)
Allen)1 Toby Smith (Toby Smith)
These ones weren't very helfpful.
Is it Too-bee, Toe-bee or tor-buy? -
E-vans or E-vins or Ev-ans or Ev-ins?

Hurricanes:
2 Ricky Riccitelli (Ricky Rick-e-telli)
Are you sure about this one?
Christina Ricci is Ree-chee and Gucci is Goo-chee so shouldn't Riccitelli be Ree-chee-telli?

Thought Savea would be more Saa-vea?

I don't know why the Canes keep on selecting West. He was awful when he came on against the Crusaders. His defense is awful and his line clearing likewise. And not just in this game.
The Canes use to have average forward packs but backs that could set the world on fire (except for the Hammett year). But this year the backs have been ordinary relying on individual brilliance rather than great team tries. I put it down to poor coaching. Is it Boyd to blame or the attack coach? I hope they can sort things out but I don't have high hopes.

We have flattered to deceive, that's for sure. Against a quality team like the Crusaders we were found out

@winger Because West is still many times better than JGB. I hope the Canes sign a good replacement for next season, because JGB shouldn't come anywhere near the 10 jersey if BB is unavailable.
I'm missing something obviously, but all I see is Jamison Gibson-Bark...
-
@billy-tell Haha, there's not much worth seeing if you're watching Jackson Garden-Bachop.

Sounds like the All Blacks last year. Wonder what the common denominator is?

I have the opposite impression of the Canes this year. The backs have been awesome and scored some bloody incredible length of the field tries going through lots of hands. It's the forwards that have been exposed, and badly at times - see Sharks and latest Crusaders games.
Edit - would also add, just to rebut what I think @mariner4life's implied point is, that the backs have only been awesome when Beauden is on the field. We've struggled badly without him.
