Fuck. Hope it's not the news I think it is.
What ? Read ?
-
It will be Wayne Smiths replacement, starting now to work through until he finishes up.
-
That news also means that McLeod won't be the new Highlanders head coach, and that Hammett's chances of getting the Highlanders gig have just gone up significantly. In any case, the Highlanders now have one spot extra to fill on their coaching staff.

Phew. I just had a horrible feeling that Coles was retiring after further testing they had done in camp.
I doubt they would've announced that in a press conference and especially the day of a big game.

Haha chicken little @Crucial
Smiths apprentice was the first thing that came to my mind. -
Always felt he could have gone further as an ab. Was a devastating runner. Iirc he missed the final test he was supposed to start in because he ran into Norm Hewitt at training and was injured.
Seems to a decent coach though. Judging by the grey hair and lines he appears to have been doing it for some time. 44 going on 60.

Sounds like 2018 will be my year. No Wayne Smith at the ABs. Hammett head coach highlanders. Fuck my life.
