@canefan he's full of shit.
Yes he is. But he reckons the medics will back up the diagnosis. Even a small tear must be a real hindrance. As a tennis player he is a marvel
He didn’t appear to be any discomfort whatsoever in the final. I call bullshit.

Are the worst value tickets in the world, those to the woman's final of any grand slam tournament? Has there ever been an epic match where one game was worth the admission price alone? Decided to tune in to the final this morning, and like pretty much so all others ... it was a one sided drubbing. The commentators were completely full of shit. Consistently talking about some of some of the epic points, which weren't, and building up Brady as not being out of it, when she was. I cannot remember a single final that I've watched that wasn't a one-sided waste of time.
The paying Aussie public should be thanking Coronavirus from saving them from yet another boring, one sided crap-fest.
The women should play best of 5 sets. Their finals are often shit because one has a nervous start and then the match is pretty much done by the time she gets a rhythm. Equal pay for equal work and all that as well. I really wonder if Serena Williams would have been as dominant having to play best of 5.
For God’s sake, just no.
You don’t have to watch dude.
I can tell you the conditioning (or lack thereof) of ladies would make five sets totally tedious.
Women’s tennis just isn’t as exciting a sport, as demonstrated unequivocally by viewing figures. It is what is.
Then I don’t understand how they can claim equal pay. But I do recall a rare female 5 setter years back between Steffi Graf and Anker Hüber. It was a great game. I think the woman are more than capable of playing 5 sets, but obviously they don’t have to and train accordingly.
Give men and women players an equal percentage of the revenue generated by their matches. Sorted.

Yeah i'm not a Djok fan but he has a serious claim to being the best player of all time. His returning ability is unbelievable.
Yeah, seriously dislike the prick but I reckon he’s GOAT. Untouchable when on song.
Stayed opposite my home during Wimbledon in 2018. Great with his kids.

Djoker says he played the final four matches with a stomach muscle tear. That's hardcore
Hardcore gamesmanship more like

Shouldn’t that be the default position of any dad? Plenty of great fathers who are still prize wånkers.

@bones I don't reckon we pronounce it unzud. Surely we pronounce the N like it starts with an E and the Z like it has an E in the middle.
Edit: Just realised you spelt unzed. But the point still stands in part. I reckon Aussies get it wrong when they give us shit for that.

That's horse shit.

@crazy-horse you're probably right.

Didn't realise the NZ connection with Norrie. Born in SA to British parents who moved him to NZ when he was 3. According to Wiki, low funding from tennis NZ may be a reason he is now representing GB. Pity, we are well overdue a decent tennis player.

@crazy-horse yeah, I was pretty surprised when I heard him speak - happy to claim him until he becomes a failure.
